This may not be the cheapest of restaurants, but chances are you wont come across many of these beers in the uk, so it can be worth it. The mussels are the main selling point of this place so order one of these dishes, they're the speciality for a reason. The spicy mussel platter whose name... read more

I'm a big fan of mussels and Belgian beer and this place ticks all the boxes for me.Service was quick and our waiter was very knowledgable about the various beers.

Only went in for a drink before a curry but I have eaten here in the past and, back then the food was excellent. Overwhelming range of beers on the drinks menu and an overwhelming range of ways to cook mussels on the food menu. Recommended!

We really enjoyed our night out, if you like beers there is a big variety, and they also brew their own beers 😊 We then moved downstairs to listen to live music, and the guy was brilliant with the guitar. I would definitely recommend a visit!

We had lunch. The "Belgian Rarebit" was excellent. The drinks were also good. Service is good. Interiour is just a tad shabby.

This menu has the longest list of mussel based dishes I have ever seen, but whilst you read through the mouth watering options you will have time to sample some of the house brewed beer, or choose from a great list of European Beers, with a heavy slant on the best beers Belgium can offer.

A very nice place! Large menu with plenty of choices (especially for mussels), many choices of great beer, and great service. I will definitely eat there again next time I'm in Eastbourne!

We both had mussels but different recipes. My husbands was lovely but mine had a lot of grit. The service was good.

We called in for a light lunch, on a lovely sunny day. The restaurant was sunny and bright with great views of the sea and pier. We ordered the mussels and a beer while we waited. The beer was good but the mussels were overcooked and not pleasant. Then we had the bill. The small beer cost over £6! We... More

Having enjoyed a really nice visit here before, today was a great shame. Our waitress was clueless - I asked about one of their specials (it was their 'Crab Festival') She said she didn't know and then I had to prompt her to go and ask. When she came back she said nothing which attracted me to the dish so... More
