The restaurant is offering FISH & CHIPS - buy one get one free. I went inside and enquired how much the fish and chips were - £10.95. Gulp, I thought - £10.95 for fish and chips - they must be something special for that price. I would never have paid that for one portion of fish and chips - but... More

We called in about 5.30pm on the spur of the moment. We both had a different pot of mussels. Excellent. Staff were very attentive. We'll be back...soon.

Just ordered from the just eat website. Completely misleading discription chips were under no circumstances 'home made'and trading standards will be informed. myself and my husband were both unable to eat the burger and the bun as they were Rock solid. Most disgusting meal I've ever tried. Needless to say we did not finish our take away. The place should... More

Have been here for a number of 'special occasions' over the years. If you love mussels, this is the place for you. Around 50 variations, served 'the Belgian way' with frites and mayonnaise. Have had other seafood there too including crab, oysters, scallops, prawns...and they've always been good. Would say that if seafood and fish aren't your thing, then this... More

We went there on friday night and enjoyed both the food and live music ! Some couples were actually dancing to the music. Seafood pots were fresh and tasty, great variety of ales !

Good friendly service, good menu especially the mussels. Our favourite restaurant on Eastbourne seafront. Great selection of beers.

My husband and I went this cafe on our wedding anniversary. First we got some mussels, which were rubbery and smelt like sewerage. We could not eat it, so sent it back. Then my husband found great long black hair in his main course. We told waiter about it, he said you are taking the piss now and he accused... More

Stumbled across this one whilst escaping the coach loads of pensioners in my hotel, what a gem. With a beer list to die for, literally! Great selection of top Belgian & European Beers served in their bespoke glasses, try the Kwak if you want something quirky. It was mussel night when I was there and for under £14 had all... More

Looking for a nice, laid back lunch venue? Try the Belgian café - especially the seafood. The mussels (of course!) are rather nice.

Great selection of quality Belgian beer and well prepared mussels. Can't rate highly enough... Service was good too. As good a dish as in Bruges.
