We did not book, but friendly Italian family with hospitality matched with good food quickly found a table and added to it so we could all sit down. The fish and chips large fell over the plate both sides so I had the medium which was not quite so big. A lovely juicy piece of cod, well battered and smashing... More

After spending a day exploring the prom and the beaches, a fish supper at the Holiday Inn turned our day out into a tiny holiday. The 'medium' cod and chips was generous, with perfectly cooked fish in crispy batter served with nice small chips and plenty of tartare. The staff are polite, welcoming and cheerful (even at the end of... More

Very fast service and the chips were the nicest I've had for a while. Only thing against the place was the signs on the tables outdoors saying no takeaway customers. I wouldn't choose to pay sit-in prices to sit basically hanging off the pavement! Other than that, nice chips, would visit again.

I was recommended this restaurant by the locals - big mistake I asked for mushy peas (£1.90 ) and waited and waited for them in a virtually empty restaurant.I eventually asked for them and they had been left in the microwave. The waitress was totally disinterested. A single gin and tonic was £4.30. Beware

An enjoyable fish supper to take away and eat nearby in the open air. Prompt service and good value. Please note that the marker on the google map is in the wrong location and that this establishment is situated near the Floral Garden conference centre.

Once again went to our favourite fish and chip eatery in Eastbourne and, yet again, not disappointed but, there again, I didn't expect anything else. I have never had a poor meal here and as ever the service was quick, the staff charming and the prices exceptionally good. I will definitely be back.

Been to this restaurant twice for a takeaway supper. Both times chips were nice and hot but pies / saveloy barely warm. Service was polite and friendly. Overall an okay experience but not the best chippy in Eastbourne.

We strongly agree with the couple leaving the restaurant as we were looking at the menu in the window - some of the best fish and chips that we have ever tasted! Good service provided in what is a very popular establishment - will definitely go there again!!
