This place does really, really good coffee. It has speciality roasts and "guest beans". The staff take pride in chatting to you about them and ensuring you are enjoying your choice. The flatbreads and sandwiches are gorgeous - fresh, tempting ingredients, and the soups are out of this world. Spicy, beany, and full of goodness. I love popping here for... More

I went yesterday on recommendation from a friend. I pulled up a plastic and rather cheap looking chair and decided to sit outside. The plastic table was clear bit dirty and hadn't been wiped. Service was good although a little long but a good sign because a good coffee takes that little bit longer to make. I wasn't eating. The... More

We are regular visitors to Urban to see Andy and his Team. The coffee is always lovely, especially his skinny caramel latte's! The sarnies are lovely- and the bread is incredible! Bring back the crayfish! And please- do more for breaky! All in all- best independant coffee house in Eastbourne. Congrats on the Towner too! We need to support our... More

I visited the one in the conference centre overlooking the tennis courts. Top notch coffee prepared here. Don't go anywhere else. Great service too. Highly recommended.

Been here a few times and had coffee and cake but always wanted to try their sandwiches. We both had a warm ciabatta panini with spinach red onion marmalade and goats cheese and it was divine! Extremely fresh, and the ingredients married together perfectly. They had different fillings for the ciabatta panini's (such as tomato and mozzarella) and other options... More

Been meaning to try this place out for a while. Wasn't a bad experience but the milkshake wasn't that enjoyable, maybe instead of using just a syrup and milk use an ice cream too? It seemed to be too strong and not creamy. The panini was nice just a tad pricey. Combinations of paninis were good though..... The coffee was... More

We have intended to visit this cafe for some time because of the very good reviews we have read on tripadvisor, but, because it is so popular, we didn't manage to get a table until last Friday (6 June). It was a very sunny day and many of the customers were seated outside so we were able to get a... More

We went because it was recommended on Tripadvisor. Very nice coffee. Kind staff helped us with the scooter in the doorway. We took paninis to eat on the pier. Good quality food.

I am a coffee maniac. Friendly attentive staff, superior coffee, tasty food ... very clean cut and clean urban interior, a perfect place to have coffee outdoors on a sunny day, dog friendly. All these made my day :-)
