Nice choice of snacks and cakes here. Cream tea was huge! Order the milkshake for the novelty factor in that it's served in a glass jar. This fascinated my young son, no end! The story of the place on the back of the menu, was lovely to read. Would like to have seen this place promoted better.

Popped in for something quick to eat and loved the place. Lovely story behind the place (as written on the wall), excellent friendly service, great tasting panini's and excellent value for money. Coming back again to try out the naughty looking cakes and cream tea!

Fabulous shop, great service and an excellent choice of sweet and savoury! Great sandwich menu. I had goats cheese, salami and fig, fabulously tasty. The cream tea is great value, the lemon roulade is to die for. Service is attentive and the decor is lovely. This place is a must. These 4 sisters have really brought a great little place... More

A unique Coffee /Tea shop owned and run by jolly enthusiastic sisters who love their work. The cakes are delicious and certainly not for those who are calorie counting! Almond croissant are especially scrummy!

We found a new (to us) spot for lunch and it has a unique atmosphere due to the cakes, cupcakes, and aromas! We had a panini with fig and cheese, beets, colslaw , and a slice of the most popular cake! All were delicious! The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Bring cash when you visit Neate's.

You made my mum & I so welcome. You have an amazing ability to transcend barriers & remain grounded in where you grew up. AMAZING cream tea's, a classic Dean Martin CD, Thank u for calling us a taxi. Worth the next day big spend on cup cakes & more. Gloria & Jennifer - Croydon x

The board outside claims "The best cream tea in Eastbourne" - and I'm yet to prove them wrong. The plus points about this place is the good selection of cakes, and the cream teas. The scones are fresh and delicious (no hint of dryness) the jam is good and they use actual clotted cream. (I find many places just use... More
