we never back to this restuarant again becasue the food was not good , was not tastey, it was like grass. the service was good and the price was too much expensive for that food. The food was not worth for the price.

A lovely place for a pleasant evening where you can even discover Turkish wine. Your evening starts with a different bread brought to your table with nibbles, free of charge. Thoroughly enjoyed 2 of the starters or mezzes, the prawns and aubergines were to die for however I would give the filo pasty a miss. The main was nothing more than... More

As the title of this review states, tonight’s dinner was to be a learning experience. Our first lesson was that Meze is pronounced MAY ZAY. We do wish Meze had a website, as any reader would be fascinated, and the menu would be intriguing, although not very familiar to a new diner. Our server, a cheerful lady with classic Mediterranean... More

We followed the good reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Very good service, nice Turkish atmosphere and tasty food. We notably tried various mezzes: 3 per person is enough for a meal. They also have Turkish drinks : yogurt, Turkish tea... Very friendly to children. Reasonably priced.

We sat in the window table for my friends 30th Birthday and we had the most delicious meal. The quality of the food was outstanding. I had the lamb cubes cooked over the charcoal served with bulgar wheat, onion salad and pide bread it really was delicious! My friends had a similar meal with either the lamb or the chicken... More

This is a lovely small restaurant, we didn't have a reservation but were lucky to get a table as it was very busy. The service was great and you can see the food being cooked right in front of you. The chicken mains were really tender, moist and flavourful and the portions were very generous.

It is just worth every penny. Around £13 for a main course, but it is big and enough for a really hungry belly:-) and yes you can see your food being cooked;-)

I have been eating in Meze since the day it opened about 11 years ago! The food is absolutely great! It is not the standard Turkish restaurant having same old dishes as everywhere else. Meze has different kind of recipes! The meat is melting in your mouth! Everything is delicious! I go there as often as I can as I... More
