This is a nice looking quaint restaurant in Newgale. We were walking along the coastal path from broadhaven to solva. we took a break at this place for lunch. it is so nicely done inside. i am a vegetarian and was surprised to find that the vegetarian options were so good. had a tasty chili bean burger and my friend... the Sands Cafe was probably one of the most impressive experience in our Welsh walk. A modern, high quality, great food, comfortable and clean cafe, in new gale, Wales off the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Great food, served extremely fast, with new age spicy bean burgers along with old fashioned scones and cream.

This is an unprepossessing café set at one end of newgale. The large windows allow you to watch the world go by but unfortunately you can't see the beach. The coffee is good and there is a good selection of cakes and cookies, including very rich tiffin and some excellent biscotti. The staff were friendly. We didn't eat off the... More

From the sofa you could just see the sea - the shingle bank is fairly massive. Two coffees ordered and some home made dried biscuit thing, which was great dipped in the Americano. Perfectly good coffee, not outstanding. This is really a summer venue, I expect its humming in the heat, It was OK as a coffee stop.

A great little stopping place by the beach. Newspapers on sale, and a small deli. Car parking just opposite. The cream tea was one of the best I had on our holiday. On one of our visits we walked along the Newgale beach too -a great combination. Good friendly service with a bit of chitchat, and lovely clean loos!

Not quite as good as we'd hoped. Had paninis & coffee. Just not very memorable. Expected more from a cafe/deli.

Stopped here whilst walking from Solva to Broad Haven and found it very busy, but with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks and sandwiches. Lucky find.

I head down to this cafe quite often as it is one of the better cafes on the beachfront in Pembrokeshire. I love their cakes (although the flapjacks are sometimes perfect, sometimes dry) and my partner loves the fact they do superfruit tea. The view is marvellous and if its warm enough there is lots of great seating outside. The... More
