I live locally and have visited this place twice, First time for breakfast with 3 others . apart from grumpy disinterested (bordering on ignorant ) staff the place was filthy and when it arrived the food looked as though it had been thrown on the plates from a distance. The food - beans egg bacon etc was just dumped on... More

We stopped for an afternoon snack with our 2 cocker spaniels after a walk along the beach. The coffee was very hot, the blueberry muffin exceptional and the bara brith was the best I have had with so many cherries. Service was great and we were all made to feel very welcome. £10 for 2 large drinks and cakes I... More

The food is ok, the staff are friendly but service is snail's pace. And on this visit my bacon sarnie was ready just as a local came in and asked for one. He got mine and I had to wait all over again. Thought that was very unprofessional.

Terrible. Popped in here for some light lunch and wish I hadn't bothered. Young staff who were not really interested in serving us. I ordered a chicken, cheese and bacon panini and a latte for myself and a cheese and ham toasty for my wife with a diet coke. What I received after a 30 minute wait was a cheese... More

Very friendly, nice food and drink. Charming atmosphere. Found this cafe after being ignored by the nearby Duke - I'm glad I went to the Sands instead.

I finished a business meting and needed food fast. I stopped at the Sands Cafe for a late lunch. The cafe is on the Newgale beach front and hand for beach users, holiday makers and passing traffic (me). I sat on the balcony and had a lovely burger and shake. The food was tasty and good value. Staff were polite... More

We visited Sands cafe for a quick bite to eat. We were there a little longer than anticipated and it appeared by the shouting that we weren't the only ones. The waitress's appeared to be completely lost and there seemed to be no one in charge. We had to ask for our table to be cleared after sitting for more... More

We visited this Cafe whilst camping down the road in August 2014. It's not that large, 12 tables at best, but they seem to really struggle to keep up. We were just about to order when a chap jumped infront of us and said he'd been waiting 45 minutes for two coffees and a sandwich, they apologised and sorted him... More

This place was bustling on Sunday bank holiday lunchtime. Liked the food the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Service was a little slow but it was busy and the staff were very aware. Lovely soup and tea cakes.
