One of the best in Stavanger.

I spent six weeks in Stavanger and so ate at almost all the restaurants. I kept revisiting here as the food was excellent. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money. Portion size is good and the quality was delicious. Service was good too with friendly staff.

It is central in a refurbished old marine warehouse, still all wood and brick and personality. Norwegian food is very good, I had a dish with cod, cod liver, cod tounge etc. very nice. We had local beer, very good. Wine also available. A bit disappointing the dessert, I had chocolate fondant. My wife does it better! Service was attentive,... More

Great food, try the seafood. They offer today's catch from the sea, but also have other things on the menu. Good selection of beer/wine and skilled waiters.

It was splendid June afternoon, sunny and very warm. Me and my friend went for the walk in the harbour. There is a lot of restaurants in this area. We have chosen Sjohuset Skagen just because they had the whale stake in their menu. We have never had this meat so we have decided to eat it. It was just... More

Overpiced probabl because of the location. My companion ordered steak which the chef failed to cook medium and it was overcooked and had to be returned. My spare ribs was served in a pile. It was bland and I will not return even though the service was very good.

The dose was a small potato was not fresh, I think the only microwave heated because some items were hot, but most of it was cold, as if he had been taken out of the fridge. The price, compared to the dose a bit expensive, I got more of that kind of money elsewhere. Only positive thing was the service.... More

I went with a colleague during ONS and appreciated the service and the food as well. We spent 1,500 korons having a starter (salmon), good plus the fish of the day and 2 beers each. The place is not exactly at low cost but is properly in line with Stavanger prices. We have also a bit of acquavite as an... More
