Good food

My wife and I had fish dishes: the fish sandwich and the klipfisk, both very good. We shied away from the meat dishes since they seemed a bit pricey. I really liked this bar/restaurant. Food was great, beer was good but the interior was what I liked the most. Model ships, maritime paintings and old timbers.

Although busy, they found us a table. The mussels in white wine as a main dish was excellent and a generous quantity. My wife had a salmon dish that she really enjoyed. Eating out in Norway can be an expensive business but Sjohuset Skagen seemed to be good value for money.

A good restaurant on the waterfront with a nautical themed interior. Our group of 8 (incl vegetarian 1) Were all pleased with our meals. Of the notes Tusk, Reindeer, Fish soup and oddly enough Their ribs were great. It was expensive but Within The Context of Norwegian pricing It was quite reasonable

Classic old seaside feel right when you walk in with a lot of cool Norwegian vibes. I ordered a fish burger that came with veggies and baked potatoes as well as a bowl of bread beforehand - really enjoyed the meal and left totally stuffed and satisfied. The server also helped me get on the wifi and was super-friendly in... More

I had the Aquavit cured raindeer starter, the baked tusk main, and pannacotta for dessert. The starter was rather bland, but the tusk was baked well and the sauce was good. The pannacotta was creamy and firm. Unfortunately a few hours later I had a rotten tummy - as I had nothing else after dinner - it must have been... More

Charming surrondings. Ok menu, but for the price I honestly expexted a much higher quality of food and service. Not very clean, with the window full of dead flies. The music from the neighbour restaurant was so loud, that we had to raise our voices.

Nice location in front of the sea in the right side of the port. Good seafood, cool service and atmosphere. Good the salmon with vegetable. If you don't like cause don't forget to ask to have them served a part.

We initially just stopped in for a snack and ended up eating an entire pot of simply the best mussels I have ever eaten. The bread with melted cheese was perfect for dipping in the sauce. We also had the fish soup which was rich, but not overwhelming. Just perfect. The local beer we drank was perfect to wash it... More
