First time here but was not disappointed. Service was first class and being just before Christmas the restaurant was very busy. Only a small menu, but the quality of food was superb. We both had the reindeer steak and this was cooked to perfection and exceptionally tasty. Good choice of wines. Expensive, but as everywhere in Norway, but they quality... More

These guys know their fish! - I still dream about it! I booked a table the same day - lucky because they were full just after. The locale is nice - although it can get a little too noisy with too many business-people shouting to be heard. Their beer selection was a little uhm.. inconsistent. They only had a few... More

Molde fjordstuer is a small hotel with a very good restaurant. It is located right by the leisure boat harbor in the West Norway town of Molde and next to Aker Stadium, the home of Norway's best soccer team. The food in the hotel's main restaurant is probably best-in-town these days, and there is also a very popular (and spacious)... More

This is one of the best seafood dinners I have had in a restaurant. Try the klippfisk or the always fresh catch of the day. Go for some smoked whale or fish soup for starter. The service is excellent with attentive staff even if the place gets crowded. Not the most charming place when it comes to the interior of... More

I've been traveling around Norway for the past few days, eating in an assortment of fine restaurants and I must say this is probably the best of the bunch. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant offers amazing views of the harbor and fjord. The execution of the food was impeccable. I ordered filet mignon, garnished with mashed potatoes, asparagus... More

We stayed one night in Molde and chose this restaurant for dinner. I had the blue mussels cooked in a tasty sauce of beer, cream, garlic and a hint of chilipeppers. My girlfriend is picky when it comes to fish, but was very pleased with the halibut. The head waiter gave us a very nice white wine which went well... More
