Delicious lunch

Vegetable soup that is out of this world! The most delicious lentil and veg soup with Feta cheese and artisan bread. Expensive But worth every penny (or krona)! James Dean burger, Sausage with mash and caramelised onions were also a delight. Cakes and coffee to follow were also lovely. All... read more

We loved our visit to Cafe Lyspunktet! Best meal of our trip to Norway so far. Everything is homemade and fresh. Chocolate cookies are an absolute must.

Have eaten here several times and always walk away thinking I can't wait to go back. Tasty and satisfying meals. The slice of Sydney is delicious. Great kids meals too, my daughters was even decorated with a cute smiley face. Waiter, waitresses and baristas are passionate and friendly. Be sure to pop in when your in town!

We found the Lyspunktet Cafe on TripAdvisor and we went for the Open Mic night that happens once a month. We were not disappointed. We didn't plan on staying late, but the host of the open Mic night came over to introduce himself and so we decided to stay for the evening. Our meals were wonderful. You go up to... More

Everyone would say: go eat where there's a line to get in. And here you'll mostly always find one. But what to say? You can pick anything blindfold and be sure you won't be disappointed, best cappuccino in whole Norway and try their cakes......!!!

A combination of tourists and locals constantly fill the busy and unassuming coffee shop. The menu at Lyspunket is varied but just small enough to easily maneuver. Honestly, I think anything you get on the menu will be outstanding. It’s the kind of place where everything is fresh and made with love. We shared the West Coast (Pulled pork sandwich... More

We had lunch here, and the place was pretty busy, yet the food came pretty shortly after we had ordered. I had the James Dean burger, which was home made from top to bottom, served with small potatoes on the side. The hamburger was really tasty. The potatoes were a little oily for my taste, and I would have prefered... More

So I have to confess that I am American and i love spicy food. Norwegian food is wonderful, but I miss the spice! Well it can be found here! If you're not a fan of the heat there are milder options, but you should try the Sweet Samurai if you're missing it! A very unique and creative menu that was... More
