Nama is the oldest sushi restaurant in Bergen. Since the opening in 2001 we have continued to deliver top quality sushi since day one. Part of our success is a steady focus on high quality ingredients and accessories as well as creating a nice atmosphere and good service. After a massive refurbishment of our restaurant we are now proud to open a new fresh Nama restaurant. The interior is designed by architect Einar Samuelsen. The Menu is inspired by our other Asian restaurant, the critically acclaimed Hanami in Oslo. The menu is updated with several exciting news such as the robata grill, a cocktail menu and a new improved sushi bar. We wish to be the best sushi restaurant in Bergen.

Sunday lunch bargain

There is a set Sunday lunch menu for 290NKR. Three courses with Miso soup or endamane beans, maki rolls of the day followed by chicken or fish with crispy noodles. Food was excellent and portions more than enough. Bargain!

I have been to Nama several times over the last couple of years, and each time have been delighted with the whole dining experience. This last time we took my brother and law and his partner as they are keen sushi lovers. Their overall impression was that of one of, if not the best sushi restaurant they have eaten in.... More

Best sushi I ever had. The staffs were amazing. I got both a wine recommendation and vegetarian sushi upon request. They were attentive and helpful throughout the entire meal. I came back later the same day for a night-snack, and even though I obviously had had some more to drink that evening, they accommodated to my needs. I got a... More

Have been here a cupple of times, with friends and co-workers. Really good sushi, but be sure to bring the starters before the main course, so we have room on the table ;)

Great sushi, great edamame and great service! The menu has also other exciting things to offer than sushi... so I'll have a lot more to taste next time in Bergen!

Myself and my husband had dinner in Nama. Really enjoyed the food and ambience. Great restaurant atmosphere and the sushi we had we delicious. The portions size were perfect for us. The service from the staff great and food presentation beautiful. Would definitely recommend you visit for that Asian flare.

Nama has fantastic sushi, but sushi is sushi... Therefore, go for their specials! Amazing variations on the theme! I am traveling a lot and have tried sushi all over, but Nama has an edge! Recommended!

This was my first visit and my husbands second and it will not be either of our last. Definitely go with the chefs selection of sushi. They choose what is best and most fresh thay day. Absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere was also very nice and romantic, and the service was very good.
