If you want a pretty expensive lunch and good service, this is the place for you. These guys serve scones (or something similar to them) for a whopping 80 NOK (10 EUR). In return though, they have several copies of Lonely Planet books, I suspect that they do in fact have every single one. They sell travel gear like micro... More

This hidden little gem has great coffee and food. It's a combined shop for travelgear and a café with great prices. You always find something interesting here as the hours fly by! Have a lunch and feel educated, ready for travel and happy afterwards!

I've been to Chillout many times, most often to buy stuff for my travels, but I've also sat down for a while. They have an amazing selection of travel books and items, I seriously think anyone going on a travel should stop by!

Such a little coffee shop with travel books and a nice, welcoming atmosphere. I love to sit here, drink a good cup of coffee and browse through books about foreign countries planning my next trips.

Stumbled across this cafe on a trip to Bergen. Lovely little combination of travel shop and cafe. Just a few comfortable seats and tables with a lovely atmosphere and free wifi. Excellent coffee, which is what it is all about and once you have finished you can do some shopping for your travel goods. Food looked good, but did not... More

What an inspiring cafe for travellers this is! It’s a great place for just dreaming about places to go while having a cup of coffee or something to eat. I really like the atmosphere and the people who worked here. They also sell all you need of travel equipment and travel books about almost any location. There is also a... More

This is a nice place, and I've written another review about what I like about it, but it's not wheelchair friendly at all, and I just wanted to warn people with wheelchairs/strollers about that. You need to climb some steps to get into Chillout, and it's also quite narrow inside if you are bringing a stroller or a wheelchair.

Me and my friends sometimes meet at Chillout for a hot beverage like coffee, chai latte, hot chocolate with our without chilli. Tastes good! They normally have baked goods that smells delicious. It`s cozy, the staff is friendly, and they have a good selection of travel guides and travel equipment. Worth a visit!
