Somewhere out of the rain

It was raining and this was first place that we found with a seat out of the rain. Shortly after the rain turned into a torrential down pour. So we were lucky. Things improved with good service and a nice meal accompanied by beer and wine. I think this is the same name as a place we ate at wo... read more

The food here is modern Norwegian. Lots of seafood dishes with enough variety for those who don't eat seafood or meat. Meal portions are huge! We had the beef, muscles, baked salmon and seafood mix. Quality is superb - the seafood mix simply wasn't a few muscles ad a scallop or two. There were numerous prawns, white fish, salmon and... More

We had a dinner and dessert experience here, you get ok food, good portions for a ok price, it may feel a little more cafeteria than restaurant based on the food experience, but for the price its ok.

Stumbled upon this place while on the hunt for a nice healthy meal for around 100kr or so. Had the Hungarian Goulash and was impressed. 105kr for a big bowl of flavorful, filling, warming soup. Bread and butter included. Tasted home made and filled me up with deliciousness. Recommended for when it's a cold and rainy day out (as seems... More

Highly recommend this place! Sometimes is difficult to find a good restaurant in a tourist Area but you can trust there. The seafood is great, the fish soup is very good. Price is quite high.

I have given this place a chance on various occasions, but everytime it ends up with tasting mainstream, undefined and boring.. So if you want to fill up your stomach for a reasonable price in a restaurant that looks good, this is the place. With other words; nothing special.

Like this place and visit regularly. Meny is nice with a nice mix of asian, and some more traditional options. Portions are huge and price is ok! Service is quick and friendly. Book a table if you plan to visit around lunch at weekends or on a thursday/ friday evening.

There are several around Bergen, so you will always find place in one. The locations are strategic. The selection of food is both exotic and mouthwatering. The service efficient. Ideal for a night out with friends or for a quick meal before THE party. Excellent value for money.

This Zupperia, not far from Grieg hall and all points of interest in the city, was a fantastic quality experience. I had the chef's sampler which included local fish soup (with generous portions of wonderful monkfish in it), the crispy fried shrimp with garlic chili sauce, very tender chicken skewers, and fresh, crispy spring rolls. The local Hansa beer they... More
