Good food, atmosphere and drinks

Right across the street from the fish market, Zuperria lives up to its name: the soup is amazing. Top that with a great selection of red and white wines and good and prompt service and you get the picture.

Popped in here after the cinema for a quick bite. Stoggy reheated rice dumped next to a pool of luke warm to moderately hot bland teriyaki beef was more than disappointing. Nothing about this restaurant makes the experience feel at all special. Could have easily gone home and reheated something much tastier and spared myself 210 kr. Sure Zupperia's location... More

Zupperia appears to be a chain of Asian fusion restaurants with a focus on soup. The one I ate in is Zupperia at Vaskerevlen 12, which was near my hotel. It was calm and quiet after the busy fish market area, but my Thai fish soup was a disappointment: far too salty, with arugula instead of the traditional Thai cilantro,... More

The meals are generous sizes and prices are affordable for most. For Norwegian standards it might even be considered cheap. There are several restaurants in town and they are very popular. Something for everyone.

First time in Norway on a solo trip, while exploring Bergen, I wanted to try a fusion of Norwegian cuisine for a change. Since Norway is expensive and didn’t want the expense of a 3-course dinner, luckily I met another traveler and we both decided to dine and share the experience. For starters we ordered the Vietnamesiske Varruller (Vietnamese Spring... More

Excellent food in this trendy restaurant. It was filled with locals - very busy, but service was a bit slow. One table left without ordering due to the delay. We ordered the hamburger, vietamese rolls, salmon teriyaki and the chicken tikka burrito. All were very tasty

The restaurant is always full, but we were glad we waited to get a table. The quality of the seafood is superb: fresh, prepared right and presented nicely. We ordered 2 dishes: monk fish with shrimp, squid (mixed seafood), and mussels; and a bowl of soup which comes with the bread. Everything was delicious and the bread was so good.... More

We had wonderful mussles and mixed shellfish platter. Also the selection of different local soups is worth a try. Nice friendly staff - nice experience with our 4 year old - who loved veld their fish soup

3 of our family had the soup & bread, which was very good. My oldest had a burger, which he enjoyed. The service was brusque and slow. But, if you're in the mood for soup, this is the place to go.

I loved my experience. Good food, great service. I had the reindeer soup (good), my husband had the salmon (he loved it) and my mother-in-law the monk fish (she really loved it). An overall great experience and it was also kid friendly.
