Great food and great atmosphere

Very good restaurant, High prices, but normal to Norway. Good wine list and great food. Taste the traditional cod and fresh one, to compare.

Bergen is about fish 🐠 and unicorn restaurant is about cooking it with nice side dishes! The freshest fish and meat is also good, traditional place with lovely interior) if it's really cold outside, can be a bit fresh inside the restaurant!

We ate here tonight, our last night in Norway, and only night in Bergen. We both had the scallops with sweet potato purée appetizer, with mussels soup as our entree. It was sooooo delicious. Cream, tomatoes, white wine, bacon, and fresh mussels, served with good focaccia. It is a cold and rainy night, and this dinner was perfect. Yes, it was... More

Our last meal in Norway and what a meal it was. I highly recommend the trout appetizer - so pink we thought they had brought us salmon. So Tender and flavorful - unlike any trout I have had. Second I had a dinner sized portion of the muscle soup. A generous portion of mussels in a rich broth. For dessert... More

Really good fish, I had the piggvar. Could be even more fish on the menu, but it is better with a few good dished than many OK ones. Good service and wine, and a good cake for dessert.

A great little restaurant in Bryggen. We had two different fish dishes and they were both great. It's a bit pricey, but so is everything else in Norway. We paid about $100 USD for two dinners with no drinks. I'd rather pay a little more for something this good though!

As seafood restaurants go, this one is very hard to beat. The food is very very tasty and presented superbly. The portion sizes are very good too. The location is right on the harbour and the building is part of history. It is a very cosy and relaxing setting where you can talk eaily and not have to compete with... More

I'm not a huge fan of fish, but not one to pass up a free dinner either. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at Enhjørningen though. Service was great, and the food excellent. We had a 4 course dinner of smoked whale, steamed mussels, monkfish and apple cake with ice-cream. Both the whale and the mussels were absolutely delicious,... More

We had dinner at Enhjorningen and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. I had the bacalao (cod dish) and my wife had the steamed halibut. We were both adamant that we had the better dish! Both were outstanding. I would say that the halibut my wife had was perhaps the best halibut dish we have ever eaten, and the bacalao was... More

Enhjorningen was recommended by FG staff. Surprise? Not necessary. As it is very unique restaurant. How would you feel to eat in the restaurant building built in 1700? Their menu is 'rich'. I'm sure I was wanting everything. But finally ordered Antler Fish! Have you ever seen Antler Fish on a menu list before? Well I haven't. And it was... More
