The food is ok, but not worth the price. It took us forever to get our bill, and the restaurant was not busy. Anniying music coming from the bar downstairs. All in all, not worth $300 for two appetizers, a half carafe of house wine, and one entree.

Charming place with a good choice of dishes from local fish & seafood, including specialities like cod tongues, steamed cod, cod liver, whale ham etc. Very good choice of wines, very tasty deserts. The personnel is really helpful, attentive and ready to fulfil all your wishes. Very interesting interior - old building, a lot of antique artefacts kept as part... More

The setting for this restaurant is worth a visit in itself. Set in the old Bryggen buildings you can imagine yourself transported to the past or maybe to an Ibsen play. The fish was delicious and the restaurant had no trouble accommodating a lactose and gluten free diner.

This place has been around for a long time. I went there for the first time in 1984. They still serve good fish in a very nice environment.

Our first night in (Bergen) Norway, we asked our hotel desk clerk to suggest a good dinner house. This place was walking distance from our hotel so on his recommendation we strolled over, enjoying the sights, sounds and favors of the town center along the way. The restaurant is located upstairs in an old waterfront building that looks to be... More

This is my third time here the last two years, well known in Bergen and for some reason business acquaintances seem to want to go here. Brought my wife for a preCchristmas dinner, was a bit late with my reservation and ended up at this restaurant. The wine was good, nothing wrong you can do to a good Mersault as... More

There weren't too many tourists walking the waterfront on the rainy November night we stopped at the Enhjorningen for bite. I had to try the lutefiske of course after hearing all the horror stories. It was a little odd but certainly palatable to me. The restaurant was filled with apparently well to do Bergeners out for some fresh caught. Atmospheric... More

The location is in the historical houses on Brygga in Bergen. Therefore it's a great atmosphere, like travelling back in time. They have good food, and there is nothing to complain about really.. The oldest fish restaurant in Bergen. Worth a visit!

Great food and atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Everything from the appetizers to the wine to the main courses and dessert were fantastic. We had the fried crab with apples for appetizer, I had the fresh crab (which was all-you-can eat for less than $50!), my wife had the redfish, and we had apple cake with caramel ice cream for dessert....
