We enjoyed our meal at Enhjorningen. It was neat to eat in one of the Hanseatic port buildings. Food was very good.

My third visit to Enhjorningen and so that's three great meals then! I like the fact that this restaurant keeps it local, with a just a few choices of just great Norwegian fish dishes. The location and the atmosphere in the restaurant matches the great cooking.

During the 3 days in Oslo and 2 days in Bergen, we did not have the chance to have dinner at a nice Norwegian restaurant. So we asked the hotel for recommendation and they recommended this restaurant. We had 2 appetizers - one with whale meat, the other oysters. It was our first time eating whale meat and it was... We had arrived in Norway on the day we dined at Enhjorningen. Even though we were seriously jet lagged, we enjoyed the food and the service. I am not a meat eater and there were good choices for pescatarians and vegetarians. The staff was interested in accommodating diners. It was a good choice.

This restaurant is located in the Unesco buildings. It is an old establishment with fine place settings in a memorable atmosphere. The food is excellent. I am particularly found of good fish. I have had memorable meals from Tokyo, Nice, Paris etc. but, the ocean cat fish I had at this restaurant ranks as I of the best. Truly delicious.... More

We came here on a recommendation from a fine jewelry store and were not disappointed. You wouldn't bother if walking by the exterior and climbing some rickety old stairs in an old building in the historic district. The dining room was old fashioned formal and cozy. A nice escape from the hubbub of the fish market and souvenir shops on... More

Food is amazing - fresh seafood and the service is extremely friendly. I had to get on an official call for around 40 min and they held the table and the food without bothering us once even though it was a very busy Friday night in summer. The decor is amazing - and the restaurant overlooks the waterfront in the... More

I am not a professional reviewer, and this is just my opinion. First, comments about some of the postings below. One reviewer found that the "beurre blanc was too fat". Beurre blanc is a sauce made mostly with butter, and since low- or non-fat butter does not exist, the comment makes no sense. Someone complained about high prices. Folks, this... More

If you'd like to try the best fish in Bergen, go here. The food is excellent, the staff terrific, the restaurant itself is worth just seeing, all these old timber walls and beautiful decorations. We had a great fish meal, the wine was good.

Been here few days ago with my family. The foods here are mediocre yet abit expensive. Basically there are 8 types of fishes to choose from, so if you love fish you woll like it. The service isn't good at all as the waiters/waitress tend to avoid me when I asked for services.
