Our last meal in Norway and what a meal it was. I highly recommend the trout appetizer - so pink we thought they had brought us salmon. So Tender and flavorful - unlike any trout I have had. Second I had a dinner sized portion of the muscle soup. A generous portion of mussels in a rich broth. For dessert... More

Really good fish, I had the piggvar. Could be even more fish on the menu, but it is better with a few good dished than many OK ones. Good service and wine, and a good cake for dessert.

A great little restaurant in Bryggen. We had two different fish dishes and they were both great. It's a bit pricey, but so is everything else in Norway. We paid about $100 USD for two dinners with no drinks. I'd rather pay a little more for something this good though!

As seafood restaurants go, this one is very hard to beat. The food is very very tasty and presented superbly. The portion sizes are very good too. The location is right on the harbour and the building is part of history. It is a very cosy and relaxing setting where you can talk eaily and not have to compete with... More

I'm not a huge fan of fish, but not one to pass up a free dinner either. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at Enhjørningen though. Service was great, and the food excellent. We had a 4 course dinner of smoked whale, steamed mussels, monkfish and apple cake with ice-cream. Both the whale and the mussels were absolutely delicious,... More

We had dinner at Enhjorningen and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. I had the bacalao (cod dish) and my wife had the steamed halibut. We were both adamant that we had the better dish! Both were outstanding. I would say that the halibut my wife had was perhaps the best halibut dish we have ever eaten, and the bacalao was... More

Enhjorningen was recommended by FG staff. Surprise? Not necessary. As it is very unique restaurant. How would you feel to eat in the restaurant building built in 1700? Their menu is 'rich'. I'm sure I was wanting everything. But finally ordered Antler Fish! Have you ever seen Antler Fish on a menu list before? Well I haven't. And it was... More

We ate here the first night we arrived in Bergen. My husband and I both had the fish soup to start which was fabulous. I had Halibet that was cooked perfectly. My husband had a fish dish that came with 3 different types of fish, which he enjoyed. I would eat here again

We enjoyed our meal at Enhjorningen. It was neat to eat in one of the Hanseatic port buildings. Food was very good.

My third visit to Enhjorningen and so that's three great meals then! I like the fact that this restaurant keeps it local, with a just a few choices of just great Norwegian fish dishes. The location and the atmosphere in the restaurant matches the great cooking.
