Finding a place to eat for vegetarians in Bergen can be challenge, and I think this is the best place I've eaten. It's not too expensive, the food is organic and very tasty. They have both vegetarian and vegan options! It is also a gallery, and I loved the art on the walls.

This small place has a nice atmosphere and decent vegetarian food, even though there are only two warm dishes for the ant-meat lobby.

I had the opportunity to frequent Pygmalion several times during my trip to Bergen and it was always a delight. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly and prompt. I enjoyed drinking their coffee and lattes while sitting in one of the high-top chairs facing the street and reading a book on a rainy day.

It just makes my day when I find great eco-cafees that give vegetarian options. It really made this day! I had a lentil burger with fried potatoes and salad. This place is easy to find as it is next door to the YMCA. The atmosphere is good and the prices are not bad for real homemade ecological food! :D

In a city where dining out can be frighteningly expensive, Pygmalion was a very welcome discovery. The reasonably priced menu offers great choice and, unusually for Bergen, has a good number of vegetarian options. We visited several times during our stay and everything we had was delicous. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the staff are very friendly. I... More

Besides it opens earlier than most of the others and you could have lunch here, it's an ordinary cafe. There is a cool waiter (or owner) here without any smile during the 1 hour we stayed there. Some paintings for sell on the wall.

This is a place for good ecologic food, very central, but not very posh or expensive. They have good sandwiches, good meat, good burgers, good salads, but the Pygmalion pancakes (crepes with fillings) are what they are most known for. A nice place!

Charming little health food place with FABULOUS food! The veggie burger was so wonderful. Made with Lentils, nuts and veggies with the best fat HOMEMADE fries ever. Loved it so much going back for dinner tonight. What a great find in Bergen! Free Wifi and lovely service
