Excellent food from the surroundings of Bergen

I have visited this restaurant several times, and the food is amazing with special combinations you've never thought of before. Both fish and meat are of the best quality, and the staff has the right mixture of letting alone and always with a eye on your needs. Near the city senter, you should try... read more

Nice both wine and juice packages to accompany your meal. The dishes are made from Norwegian and to a large extent locally produced ingredients. Very good Choices of cheese. The waiters have knowledge of both Food, producers and wine. You will need to book your table as only 20 persons or so is possible at the same time. Close to... More

Cozy restaurant with excellent food. We had a grilled halibut and fish soup for appetizers, veal for main course and pistachio cake for dessert. All of them are fantastic!! My fav is the pistachio cake, served warm with a home made ice cream. The best dessert I've ever had in Norway so far!

You will find this intimate restaurant just a couple of minutes of walking from the city center, and its definitely worth the litte walk. Using local produce and specializing in veal, I had to try the veal fillet. It was beautifully prepared. The pistachio cake for dessert was really good. Good service and quite affordable compared with restaurants on the... More

Where do I start? The best food I had in Norway, perfect, delicious, filling, not overpriced at all. It genuinely rises up to the standard of a Michelin restaurant, just in their own style. The £30 you pay for the main meal is probably the best spend £30 on food in your life. It is worth every single penny. Since... More

Definitley the best food I've tasted in Norway. Exceptionell service and very very good prices! They serve a traditional norwegian food, in a very modern way. Delicious!

A lovely warm, cosy & welcoming little restaurant. We had the reindeer steak after reading the reviews & were not disappointed, absolutely melt in the mouth delicious and the mash with ceps was a fantastic accompaniment. The liquorice & chocolate tart was a delight. Highly recommended.

If you're staying in Bergen, it's easy to hang out in the touristy areas but do make sure you walk that extra five minutes to visit Spisekroken. It's a lovely, friendly place with very good food. Sadly, on a damp Sunday night in February, we were the only people in the place later in the evening! Service was friendly but... More

It's small and cozy place in Scandinavian style. I had a reindeer steak and strongly recommend it to all the visitors! It was served with mashed potato and mushroom sauce, the meat was tender and juicy - one of the best meat dishes I've ever tasted! The service was of high level and I spent a pleasant evening! Really great... More
