My friend and I went and dined here. Very highly recommended by our friends in Bergen for traditional norwegian food, we went here. I didnt taste the traditional norwegian food - however my friend did mention it was great. I thought I would end up with a salad (Being vegetarian), however ended up eating an extremely tasty veg burger (Was... More

My husband and I ate here for lunch but ordered off the dinner menu. We both had a salmon dish that was excellent. Next time we may be more adventurous and try reindeer or moose!

Nice place where they serve typical local food. Reindeer for instance, is a particular meat you can get only in a limited geographic area (Scandinavia). It is worth to try it.

We walked in at lunch and reserved a table for that evening on the second floor, with a window seat. I let my wife face the window but I had a view as well. The fish was delicious. I even got my wife a glass of a very good Chablis, while I stuck to local Norwegian beers. The service was... More

Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Bergen. Yes, Norway is expensive but I had the mussels as a starter and couldn't believe the size of the portion. The food was excellent with lots of different choices available (even for a fussy vegetarian). The staff are very polite and managed to chat to us during a very busy... More

The Bryggeloftet &Stuene is right on the harbor in Bergen. They have some tables outside but it is more pleasant to go inside and get a table on the second floor preferably near one of the windows overlooking the harbor. I had a moose steak with scalloped potatoes and a mixed green salad. My wife had a mango chicken salad... More

I had tonight The best dinner I had in Norway. We had Mussels and a very good fish soup and a very nice dish of Cod. Plus 3 glasses of wine. The service was professional and friendly. The total cost was 850 crones. I strongly recommend.

This restaurant is right on the brygge and a great place to eat. We had salmon, and it was wonderfully prepared and served. We began with some delicious home-baked breads, and we ended our meal with ice cream served with raspberries and blueberries. On a bit of a rainy evening, this was a perfect place to dry off and dine.

Bergen is a beautiful city, one of the best place all over Norway and the Bryggeloftet&Stuene is one of the best Restaurant for reindeer in Norway. The reindeer fillet is served cooked as you wish with a nice sauce made of red wine; it comes also with french fries, that are really good too. I suggest also to try the... More

Did not enjoy after our other meals in Bergen. My wife had halibut and I had 'wolf fish' (very dry) Advantage is that it is right on the quay side
