This restaurant is right on the brygge and a great place to eat. We had salmon, and it was wonderfully prepared and served. We began with some delicious home-baked breads, and we ended our meal with ice cream served with raspberries and blueberries. On a bit of a rainy evening, this was a perfect place to dry off and dine.

Bergen is a beautiful city, one of the best place all over Norway and the Bryggeloftet&Stuene is one of the best Restaurant for reindeer in Norway. The reindeer fillet is served cooked as you wish with a nice sauce made of red wine; it comes also with french fries, that are really good too. I suggest also to try the... More

Did not enjoy after our other meals in Bergen. My wife had halibut and I had 'wolf fish' (very dry) Advantage is that it is right on the quay side

Cozy, traditional restaurant in a great location. Good range of seafood, in addition to elk, reindeer etc. As with everything in Norway, it is crazily expensive however this was at least tasty. Bill for two people both eating a fish main course and having one alcoholic drink each was 700 Kr.

A lovely, friendly restaurant with a varied range of local food. I had the whale starter, halibut with caviar in a champagne sauce, pavlova with berries desert, a local beer and then a desert wine. The atmosphere is calm, some what serene with cheery and helpful staff who are very attentive. While it is expensive, I believe it was very... More

In the hanseatic quarter a typical Norwegian restaurant still retaining some local flavour. Nice decor, service attentive albeit sometimes slow. Went twice with friends and we're always satisfied with the usual Norwegian fare

We wanted to treat our Norwegian friends to dinner and let them choose the restaurant. This place is located in the old Hanseatic harbor "Bryggen", a popular tourist area. So I was a bit apprehensive about the quality of the establishment's food, drink and service. We were very pleasantly surprised, so much so that we went back for lunch the... More

Very friendly staff and nice food (not exceptional), high price as in all Norwegian restaurants. The soup was too salty a made with a lot of butter. Desserts good.

I had salmon and a beer, salmon was nothing special, it's not bad but not particularly good either. I'd say it's overpriced for the quality. The potato on the side was pretty good, but that's about it. Would I visit there again? Probably not.

On 2 July and 4 July, 2014 we ate dinner at Bryggeloften & Stuene. The food is excellent. The menu selection is varied. It serves good Norwegian food. The service is just right. The staff was very accommodating about our table selection, when we wanted to change to be away from a large group. No music is played so you... More
