The sister restaurant of the better-know Enhjorningen, you have to walk a few yards up the alley and then climb the stairs to find this wonderful gourmet Bergen institution. Modest portions of wonderful fish, meat and game beautifully presented. Our best gourmet meal in Scandinavia in a warm, historic atmosphere.

While on family vacation in Bergen, we had a delicious meal during the Tall Ship Race weekend. It was wonderful to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Service was personalized & attentive. In a cozy old world setting, the restaurant is tucked away upstairs from the Enhjorningen. We had reindeer & salmon with vegetables of... More

The food, location and service is great. You should especially try fish in this place, the freshest and tastiest. Norwegian food is spectacular and this restaurant is representing this idea :) scallops ( starter) and three types of fish with different things aside, tastes like paradise :) and interior of the place is just magic, old building in the very heart of Bergen,... Great location in old Bergen. Wonderful atmosphere and very good food. Dined with relatives. Many locals. Ordered the 5 course meal with Raindeer and pairing of wines. Great experience but be prepared to pay about $200 US/person!

This restaurant is in a 300 year old building and just walking in is interesting. You see how these old waterfront buildings were constructed and how far back they extend. The restaurant is something between formal and smart casual. The menu is limited but local and great. All the dear on the menu was great. Basically what they do they... More

To Kokker ( 2 chefs ) is the best restaurant we ate in in our 4 nights in Bergen. Our cab driver from the airport told us about it and it did not disappoint. The setting is in a restored 1700's building on the Wharf. The cocktail lounge is very unique and well worth it just for a drink but... More

The atmosphere of the place is nice, but staff is very slow and unattentive. We waited for our meal 40 minutes and paid for 4 portions of fish and 3 glasses of white wine 460 euro. The fish was good (I mean it was really fresh) but it was not anything to wait so long and to pay so much.

Very nice and good Norwegian restaurant. Enter via flight of stairs in historic Bryygen. The building itself was over 300 years old, and well preserved. Unusual slope to all the floors which rumour says is due to an explosion during WW2 in the harbour. Food excellent, good fish selection including whale. One meat dish (steak) only on offer. Set menu... More
