Nice restaurant

Nice dining experience in the basement of Britannia Hotel in the centre of Trondheim City. Try the highly recommended beef slices which you fry yourself on a hot soapstone. It is served with different herb butter.

I had the duck, and it was the best I've ever tasted. We enjoyed coffee and dessert afterwards. The waitress was friendly and hospitable. It seemed that we dined a little earlier than the rest of the crowds, because when we started dinner, the restaurant was almost empty, but by the end, almost every table had guests. Even still, the... More

For our last dinner in Trondheim, we were up for a splurge, and boy, did we choose the right place. This restaurant is exceptionally charming, the service by Ketil was outstanding, and the cuisine is absolutely top. Ketil gave us excellent recommendations, which we enjoyed immensely. The complimentary homemade foccacia bread is wickedly delicious. The charming young chef even stopped... More

The "kjellerbiff" is very good, but i did not like the dressings. The local is nice and also the atmosphere. Ok service but a little "loud" waiters.

We went with friends to this restaurant attached to the Brittania hotel in downtown Trondheim. The restaurant was decorated in dark wood and velvet with very limited lighting, and we were seated off in a dark corner of the dining room even when there were brighter tables available. The menu was fairly limited, and average price for higher end restaurants... More

We had a great meal here in the restaurant located under the Britannia hotel. Lots of people had the hot stone cook your own steak but my partner had the set menu which was 545 NOK and was scallop, steak with vegetables & creme brûlée. The portion sizes were really good for a set menu. I had from the a... More

Don't bother to order a pre-course. The food is ok, but nothing special. The service is average, Amateur waitresses. Not Fine dining. A little bit expensive to be a restaurant just a little above the average in Norway.

The food and service was excellent. It does get quite busy so a reservation when you check in is advisable.

Went there on a business dinner, three courses. First was a mushroom soup that tasted like salt..., just terrible. Then we had the signature dish, a hot stone where you cook your own beef....basic, boring, nothing special... And to top it off they served youghurt/granola and fruits for dessert!!! Sorry but that is a breakfast dish for me. So please... More
