Good thai food at a fair price. The staff is nice. The food is prepared fast and fresh and they also do take-away. I try something new every time I eat there and have always had a good experience.

Finally I got to revisit Bangkok Café for the first time in three years, and I was yet again amazed! I had the famous Thai soup, Tom Yung Kum. It was a flavor explosion! My husband has been in Thailand and says it tastes exactly like the food there. It was very tasty, many well balanced flavors, quite spicy- but... More

If you are looking for the Thai food which has the most similar taste to the real taste of Thai Food in Trondheim, you have to come here. There is a self-service for water, spoon, fork, knife, napkin. So you pay the food less than the other restaurants. More

Eating out in Norway is not cheap, but here you can expect tasty flavourful food at a reasonable price. Chicken Green Curry always a good choice.

It's in my opinion a good place for asian food in Trondheim. Price is fine, food comes in good amounts and tastes good, service is good. However, the toilet is not as good as it could be. You'll spend around 200 NOK for a main course plus a soft drink. You can eat sitting on the floor if you want... More

Authetic thai food in the middle of the town. Good value for the money. Neat and informal atmosphere. My favourite is the green curry - "thai spicy". I eat here all the time!

I ate here twice. The first time, the food was really good. The second time, a month later, the food was average. The cooks all seems to be women straight out of Thailand, and they seem to know how to cook really well. I asked for the dished to be made spicy and they were hot but without the rest... More

I have been going here regularly the last few years now. I have never been let down. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great. You can choose from a wide variety of dishes -anything from exciting Thai soups and salads to more "scandinavian-friendly" fried chicken and scampi.

I did really use to like Bangkok Cafe - they are really good value, but I feel that the food is a little too bland and quite greasy. I think it used to be better, maybe something/someone changed? But really nice little restaurant and a good option if you want take-away or a cheapish meal.

I am in Trondheim for 4 days and have just eaten at this restaurant. Love the casual atmosphere - order at the bar, don't sit expecting a waitress to come because she won't - and really friendly staff. Having lived in Thailand for a year, I can safely say that this is the most authentic Thai meal I have had... More
