Authetic thai food in the middle of the town. Good value for the money. Neat and informal atmosphere. My favourite is the green curry - "thai spicy". I eat here all the time!

I ate here twice. The first time, the food was really good. The second time, a month later, the food was average. The cooks all seems to be women straight out of Thailand, and they seem to know how to cook really well. I asked for the dished to be made spicy and they were hot but without the rest... More

I have been going here regularly the last few years now. I have never been let down. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great. You can choose from a wide variety of dishes -anything from exciting Thai soups and salads to more "scandinavian-friendly" fried chicken and scampi.

I did really use to like Bangkok Cafe - they are really good value, but I feel that the food is a little too bland and quite greasy. I think it used to be better, maybe something/someone changed? But really nice little restaurant and a good option if you want take-away or a cheapish meal.

I am in Trondheim for 4 days and have just eaten at this restaurant. Love the casual atmosphere - order at the bar, don't sit expecting a waitress to come because she won't - and really friendly staff. Having lived in Thailand for a year, I can safely say that this is the most authentic Thai meal I have had... More

This is one of the few restaurants I don`t mind if I go alone, the food is so great and the people that work there are so nice. You _always_ feel welcome at Bangkok Cafe. The room itself has a "cafe look" where you order the food at the counter. The room has a section where you sit on pillows... More

Food was very good. Not common to get such great Thai food in Norway. Prices are low as well, compared to quality. Dont go here if you want beautiful surroundings and good service. The place looks like a street café in Phuket and you order your food at the counter. I rather liked that, though.

Great food, for cheap money! Taste like Thailand ( I know, cause I have been in Thailand many times.) Try the red curry, hot and yummy!

It is difficult to find any decent food at a fair price in Trondheim. Very often you pay a lot for very mediocre quality. If you can't afford to go to Credo or 5 tables every night (two very good, though very expensive restaurants), who should try the Bangkok Cafe. The food is sometimes okay, and sometimes quite good (maybe... More

The green and red curries are fantastic! Nice service! Low prices (for Trondheim and the value)! Also, they make the food as spicy (or mild) as you like. Highly recommendable.
