Non italian food in italian restaurant

It is in a second floor and therefore not suitable for persons with physical limitations. Apparently it is an italian restaurant but the food we had did not resemble real italian food, with non typical pimiento flavor in both dishes we ordered. Nothing especial here.

The food was good, but what took away from the whole experience was the cramped seating. My left elbow actually rested on the next table.

I visited this restaurant today as I had looked at their internet menu and found something I would greatly appreciate. The greater disappointment when I came there, and it was not on the menu I was given there, the internet menu is probably an old one. The place serves somewhat acceptable food, but combined with a very dark and very... More

Aside from their authentic tasting Italian pizzas with spicy sausages that goes with their good selection of wine. To top it all, it's the ambiance that will make you stay and have a good chat. Tables are a bit close to each other so it felt so cozy and lively.

On the plus side Frati has a lovely atmosphere, rustic decor, candles and small fires dotted around the restaurant. However the food was all very average. Carpaccio was bland, and whilst the Parma ham, melon and figs sounds lovely it was all a bit much and trying too hard. The mains we tried of veal and the skewered meats were... More

The real pizza is Italian, not North American. Frati is a Italian restaurant run by Italians and serves the the pizza the way it should be. Very delicious and tasy. The staff (Swedish, as they usually is these days) are very nice and welcoming. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices. A restaurant I like to recommend.

Took a while before a waiter came to the table to take our order but it was fridaynight so the staff was very busy.... More
