Excellent food in intime premise

Well composed and tasty food. I had the 3 course of the day for NOK 525 and it was good value. We had a good table by the window, but the premise is somewhat crowded and noicy. With more space it would deserved a score of 5.

My class went there to eat after a seminar, and we had this cozy room upstairs where we were served mushroom soup as starter, calf from a local farmer as our main course and a chocolate souffle as dessert. The food was amazing and excellent choice of wine as well. Go there!

A fantastic setting for a meal, a proffesional "private"waiter who told about all the foods and drinks we had, and good staff to serve us. Every relevant questions were answered at once, or in a short while after checking.

To Rom Og Kjøkken is an excellent choice when visiting Trondheim. The menu sports a variety of local ingredients prepared with french-european flair. Some might find the prices a bit steep, but considering the overall prices in Norway and the quality of the food, then this restaurant is good value. Check out the bar menu (early afternoon) for some really... More

I have had many meals at this restaurant, and the food has always been excellent. They use local products whenever it is possible and meet their standard. Fish and meat are always cooked to perfection, and the vegetables always enhance the taste of the main ingredient. The staff always give good advice about wine selection. I have also several times... I've visited this restaurant several times over the years and have never been disappointed. Their food is very good and tasty. They also have fish dishes and I especially recommend their "Lutefisk" dish which is served during the last months of the year and the beginning of each year. The restaurant is situation in mid-town. The atmosphere is nice, calm... More

I participated in a cooking class about sauces, broths and vinaigrettes at To rom og kjøkken with a following 3 course menu. The class was very interesting and I liked the way of teaching/showing and that we could ask about just everything. The group had with a size of 12 persons a good size too. The following 3 course menu... More

During a busy February weekend with a lot of students visiting Trondheim we also visited Trondheim and had managed to book at table for 4 pm. Due to early hours we were not super hungry and had main courses and desert alone. I had duck with spring rolls and my wife had seasonal cod. The lime based desret was a... More

The food is well known for its exclusive tastes. This is close to food heaven. We all just loved the food and the drinks. The staff is well educated and pleasant. The prices are also close to heaven, but for a once in a lifetime food experience, it's well worth the money spent.
