We went here for Sunday dinner with Our 3 year old son. The service is very attentive. They really cared for our sun and made sure he got what he liked. We had the "King" burger which consists of home baked bun, steak filet, avocado, haricots verts, homemade majo, tomato and lettuce. The size is huge and everything is wellmade... More

Matute's charming Chilean hide away is the perfect antidote for a city built on generic, heartless and overpriced chains with impersonal service. Their chacareros blow every single burger in Trondheim away, regardless of price, with perfectly seasoned meat and remarkably fresh produce. Even as a solo diner I received loving, attentive service from the wonderful mamá who runs the place.... More

Chilean-style family restaurant in central Trondhem. Lots of regular customers. Variety of food, also some Norwegian and international food in addition to the Chilean specialities. Very reasonable prices for what you get. Recommended.

Great burger and reasonable prices. Recommend ordering some extra delicious coriander salsa! The service was a bit slow, otherwise a good experience. They have no alcohol licence at the moment though.

I was surprised to find there was a Chilean restaurant in Trondheim. I wouldn't normally go for the burger, but it had guacamole, cheese, some other sauce, and "asparagus beans"! Asparagus beans turned out to be greenbeans. The bread was homemade and seemed to be a flour cornmeal combination. The burger was very good and filling. They didn't have a... More

It's several months since I did my one visit to this restaurant, but considering the positive reveiws from other I just feel I have to add mine: the food was quite average (after all, just burgers!), but my main problem was the food poisoning I got after my visit. Maybe I just had bad luck, but will not visit again.... More

We found this small, cosy restaurant by chance late on a Sunday evening , just after arriving in Trondheim. The staff were very friendly and gave us good advice regarding the menu. The Chilean burgers made with steak are excellent, and even though the restaurant had no alcolhol on offer, the meal was tasty &enjoyable.

Really really good food. It was close to my Hotel so i ate here during a week on a course close by. Ate the hamburger, with steak, advocado, bacon, cheese, salad and home made bread. It is probably the best burger I ever had, and it is cheap too Pete

I went here simply because of the good reviews here on tripadvisor. Iwas a bit shocked to find the place empty. It was just passed 9pm so i would assume it was full on thursday evening. I ordered a burger and a salad. When i wanted to buy drinks they said they did not sell alcohol. What happened? Did they... More
