This restaurant serves amazing Mexican food and frozen cocktails, the menu is in Norwegian but they have an English speaking waitress who was very happy to translate the choices. They do not have a children's menu but are happy to offer half size portions to the children. The chocolate infused Mexican sauce on the butterflied chicken is so mouth watering... More

I live in Trondheim, and this is my favourite restaurant. It's mexican food, not tex mex, the atmosphere there is great, the service is good and the people are friendly. Yeah, and the food is delicious!

Most enjoyable Sunday evening ! Good quality tex mex food - we had a platter for 2 with beef, chicken, corn on the cob etc. lots of lovely dips and stuffed breads. Left you pleasantly full but not stuffed. Hard to fault but as with most restaurants in Norway it isn't cheap. Service was attentive rather than excellent and a... More

A little underwhelmed, food was OK, I had the enchiladas, meat nice & tender but swimming in a very average sauce. The man had a chicken dish, also very tender but nothing amazing. Our waitress was very friendly & helpful as the menu is only in Norwegian she explained what each dish was.

I´ve had my birthday-dinner here, and also been at Frida´s for other occasions, and I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is very lovely and relaxed, and the waiters are friendly. I suspect that the portions were even bigger before, but still there is a great value for your money- I have even ended up taking home the left-overs. It is... More

This restaurant is conveniently located in the center of town and close to a lot of the popular hotels. Ithe menu is good even though it is not very extensive. The food is what I would call authentic Mexican (even though I have never been to Mexico), not the TexMex variery. We were a group of 10 and everyone were... More

The menu offerings here a very limited. They are also, despite the marketing of the restaurant, not strictly Mexican. The menu is loosely Tex-Mex. Fajitas are squarely in the Tex-Mex camp and take up the majority of the menu. The other offerings are loosely based on Mexican offerings, much like the entree I ordered - Chiles Rellenos. Well, I had... More

I must admit that I compare every Mexican restaurant with Gabriel's in New Mexico, and most of the time Gabriel wins. My girlfriend loves this place so today I decided to join her for dinner at Frida. The first thing that impressed me was the the atmosphere of the place. The decorations makes the place very Mexican, even down to... More

First a disclaimer: I haven't yet been to the Mexico, but I have been to quite few good Mexican restaurants across the globe. The biggest downside of the restaurants are the prices. I did not yet get a grip on Norwegian prices, but I guess they are above the average here in Frida. On the other hand the food was... More

This restaurant is in central Trondheim. A cosy place in the basement. One mexican restaurant called "Grønn Pepper" is situated just some billings away from Frida. Frida is more expensive, but has better food , and better service.
