Second time I visited AiSuma, ordering the same dish: fish of the day, which both times were halibut. This dish is absolutely amazing! We were 4 people having the same dish and everybody loved it. We also had plum soup and cheese cake for dessert which also tasted very good. Nice and professional service, good wine recommendation for the main... More

Went there with a group and arrived at 730PM. Waited until 845PM before anyone got the starter - scallops. The scallops were unfortunately not very well prepared. Then another long pause before the main course, risotto with reindeer. Not even close to being as good as it can be - and many in my group didn´t eat that much of... More

We were around 20 people company @ two tables. And the place was full! and i mean full to the last seat (at least seemed like that, 'cuz i didn't see an empty seat!). Even thou it was so busy we did not wait long for our food nor drinks. Plates were garnished very nice (not disorganised or messy because... More

Didn't quite know what to expect after reading some mixed reviews, but glad to say despite the expense it was well worth it and I'd have happily paid the same price in the UK. Restaurant is situated on the river with an outside sitting area if it's warm enough to enjoy. Inside a combination of rustic charm, industrial style architecture... More

Just finished our meal here, and overall it was pretty nice -- interesting atmosphere and interior decor, good views, and nicely located right across the water from our hotel in the Bakklandet area. The food was hit or miss. The appetizer / first-course we ordered left a lot to be desired. It was a "scallops" dish, and I did not... More

The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and friendly. The food is very good, and the service is very good to. WIth this in mind, the prices aren't that bad either. Highly recommended.

I have just had a business dinner at Aisuma and must say it's the best food I've tasted on my tour of Norway so far! Service good, smiling staff, wonderful building and ambience to match, only one slight downer - one small scallop as a starter is a bit mean - come on guys and girls at least make it... More

This restaurant had great reviews, and I understand why. Even though it is a bit on the pricier side, you won´t regret a meal here. Great service, staff who know what their talking about. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a good meal in Trondheim.

Have been there a couple of time. First time we tried meat, the other time fish. Both above average but nothing special. Prices a bit more than expected. If eating a good steak or a nice fish meal is the main purpose of the visit, go elsewhere.
