Good ambiance but over priced food. The food has no textured in it, looks like cheaply prepared cannot taste quality spices, totally disappointed

The location here is excellent and as soon as you enter the room you are filled with an foreign feeling. The only thing that was kind of disappointing was that i thought the food would be spicier. It is also ind of expensive here. Except this - i recommend the restaurant to all the people who want to try something... More

The atmosphere is very good, and the staff is friendly. The food is great, and you get a very large portion. On bizzy days you may have to wait a while for your food, but its worth the waiting! You get papadums and dips as starter for free, tastes great! The best indian restaurant in Kristiansand. I recommend to make... More

Mother India in Kristiansand is one of the first "authentic" Indian restaurants in Norway, and the resturanteur has become somewhat famous for her flavours. Nice location in the middle of the city, very cosy atmosphere inside. The food was delicious and portions were large, even though it is pretty costly... All in all however, we had a great time!

We were taken to Mother India by friends, on our holiday to Norway, despite knowing I was not a big fan of Indian food! The moment you step in you are transported, rich decor, friendly smiling staff and an authentic menu. Love the fact you can choose the strength of 'spiciness' to your dish no matter what you have, perfect... More
