Summer on the terrace; is THE best place to be! Abosolutely wonderful location! The food is also very good, but this time the fish soup (that has been in lead for about 20 years) was a bit different. Tasted like something was missing and something else added - the result not as good as it use to be. Fish and... More

A must visit restaurant, traditional Norwegian fish recipes prepared and presented with care and attention. Excellent table service catering for both small and larger groups (2-18). Good selection of wines excellent and limited range of fish fresh and supplied daily.

I have fond childhood memories from this restaurant, which is still said to be the best for seafood in town. We had a three course meal, with a bottle of white wine (birthday). It cost €250! I was gobsmacked! The food was not up to standard by a long shot, the service was lousy (untrained staff for the summer season)... More

We had dinner here in July 2013 and we were pleasantly surprised that the customer service was friendly and relaxed, even on a busy day. The place was packed, but we managed to get a spot outside. Outside they have a cheaper and more relaxed menu, while inside it is a bit more formal. We were only looking for a... More

Excellent restaurant by the waterfront centrally located in Kristiansand. We were a party of 8 and all of us enjoyed the dinner there. Fresh fish, delicately arranged, tasteful, good atmosphere, good wine selection, very decent service, nice staff.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but the restaurant was not as good as I hoped. The food was all right tough. I had throut which was good, but very small. Only 2,5 very small potatoes. But the taste of the fish was superb. Dessert, "sjokolade fondant" was average. Half made? just wondering... not worth NOK 145,- Location is perfect.... More
