Tim Wendelboe is among the elite of roasters and barristas in the world and have been so for years. He has developed a very light roasting technique that demands a lot of the beans. I recommend the coffees made from Ethiopian beans, but it depends on the season. Maybe the best aeropress coffee in the world.

This is by far the best coffee shop in Oslo provided you like coffee, and not sugary sweet, caffeinated Starbucks drinks. They serve coffee that borders on perfection. They roast their coffee themselves, and the baristas all have excellent knowledge of their products. Not the cheapest coffee in Oslo, but definitely the best.

Let me cut right to the chase: If you love coffee - and I mean COFFEE, not frappamochacaramelhazelnuthalfcaffskinnywhatever - then this coffee shop/roastery needs to be on your bucket list. Period. I found myself in Oslo about a month and a half ago and made it a point to hop the Trikk and head north from the harbor (it's a... More

I was fortunate enough to stay close to this café during my holiday. Coming from Melbourne, I love good coffee, but this place is out of this world! Their coffee is amazing, and you can tell as you step in the door. They are roasting their coffee daily, and the aromas of the beans can be noticed from a few... More

Good coffee and skilled barista, but expansiv. And for coffee-nerds who dream about T.Wendelboe, don't dream about it, he is not very often at the shop.. Possibility to take coffee courses which are interesting

A must visit for coffee lovers. Wonderful coffee. And the barristas are very passionate about their work that they don't mind novices asking questions and advice on beans and such. Not too much seating area but they really are more of a roastery than a cafe so be prepared to drink your coffee standing up. Totally worth it.

I love coffee, and I have been to countless coffee bars in Paris, Rome, Milano etc. NO ONE can compete with Tim Wendelboe! This is a must if you are in Oslo, in the same way as Holmenkollen is a must!

The coffee here is exceptional. You could call it roasted coffee berry juice. I have a new found love and respect of light roast coffees.

Wendelboe is not the place where you go to and have a nice cup of coffee on a comfy chair at a stylish table. Because there are almost no chairs and even less tables. Wendelboe is the place to go to if you want to enjoy coffee! Excellent coffee!

Possibly the best coffee experience I've ever had. I had never tasted, seen, or even heard of a Cappuccino al Freddo before, so we gave it a go. Really unique and amazing. Didn't get a chance to try anything else, but I can only imagine that the same quality goes into all their drinks.
