The best indian food with relaxing surroundings. You will not regret your visit and you will come back for more :)

We where told to finish our glass because they wanted new costumers! Small portions and horrible service as soon as we had our last bite! Don't go there! Recommend Mother India instead!

Located in the eastern part of the city center in Oslo, this Indian restaurant is fairly reachable by foot or by public transport from the main city center. Unfortunately, it is not worth the walk, as there are better Indian restaurants closer to the city center. The food was OK but nothing more and the staff was nice. The tables... More

We had quite some expectations based on the reviews, and as we are living close by we decided to drop in. However, we were disappointed. The fried king prawns for starters were on the greasy side, and not crispy but fatty. Same holds for the samosa my partner had. While my main dish (lamb biriyani) was good, the portion was... More

I have been to New Anarkali, I really like the taste of food there, service is also good, the only thing that I like lacking is the space, they have a medium sized seating area. Also, I think their food portions are a bit smaller than normal portions. All in all its a good place and I like visiting it... More

I discovered this place just recently and keep coming back. It's much cosier inside, so go in and check it out. Great food, love the popodums and all the sauce. Will keep coming back!

Great Indian food, although a bit on the pricey side. Best I have had in Oslo. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

I visited New Anarkali few months back with some friends and food was really nice. I being Indian asked for spicy but it was really spicy from my standards as well. So Indians beware, if you want normal spicy say "MEDIUM". The staff was friendly and courteous. I tried Veg Biryani and I think this place has Best Veg Biryani... More

Went here with friends and liked the place. It's not super special, but absolutely worth a visit if you, like us, look for a place to eat a nice meal with friends on a Saturday. The menu was extensive, the waitors were friendly. The prices were average for central Oslo and the food tasted very nice. NEGATIVE: Not too special,... More

OK service, OK food, way too small portions in my view. Indian restaurants are often generous in their portions but this was not the case here and we left a bit disappointed. There are better options for having a good Indian meal in Oslo.
