Great!

Perfect for a low key dinner any day of the week. The ambiance is very casual, so no need to any fancy attire for this place. The service was excellent. I've tried most of the Indian restaurants in Oslo, and New Anarkali is in my opinion the best choice.

I've been twice, just to double check that my local indian place in Oslo was as disappointing as expected. The staff is excellent, very nice people. The food is a tad bit expensive, but what you would expect. Not, however, what you'd expect for such a poor meal. Indian food tend to be full of tastes and flavours, this was... More

This busy Indian restaurant is full of authentic atmosphere. There is not a lot of room between the tables, but somehow that doesn't matter. Every time we've been there, there has been a queue of people waiting for a table. I would strongly recommend to book at table in advance. The staff is friendly and the food is absolutely fantastic.... More

Went here once to eat before going to the cinema with a friend. We were led to a table outside, but after waiting between 30 and 40 minutes for the menu and after trying to get the waiters' attention, we left and went for another restaurant which we knew to be good. From what I hear the food at New... More

One of the best indian restaurants in Oslo. Food is good to excellent, prices are reasonable (although not cheap) and the service is warm and friendly. Locale is small and simple, not really a place for the bic occations. They also offer a popular takeaway-service.

We visited this Place for the first time in September this year. We were received very friendly and the waiters were very quick. It seems the owner was there also talking to the customers. The interior and decorations in the restaurant is a bit dull in my opinion but the food was delicious. We noticed that so many people called... More

The food is always great, and the atmosphere as well. It seems to be a family that runs this place, so the staff also have a very friendly tone between them. The restaurant is quite small, so I would recommend booking in advance to be sure to get a table. Also the tables are quite close to each other, but... More

The food is extremely delicious, and the atmosphere is just lovely! They are a very friendly and organized staff. It took a while before our food arrived at our table, however, the quality and deliciousness makes me unable to complain. I will definitely be back soon! As I am of Indian heritage, I will take this opportunity to approve this... More

This is quality indian food, every time. Authentic and cheerful indian food. For Oslo, the price is not abhorrent, so me and my girlfriend have made this our usual "indian food-fix". If you like your food spicy, don't be afraid to ask for something hot - you´ll like it.
