The coolest restaurant i Oslo

You just have to go here to experience it. Its not cheep and you may not get to decide what to eat, but just go and have a blast. Better for an evening out than for a romantic dinner for two.

So we read that this was the best pizza in Oslo, if that is true I cannot imagine how the other one would be. The pizza was extremely disspointing and service was quite bad, the place was very full and our pizza took forever. Pizzas are very flufy not crunchy at all, the prices are average for Oslo not particularly... More

Great setting, amazing food/ wine and super service. Really liked the no nonsense aproach. The ten course menu with wine painting took us around 4 hours, but is definately worth it.

Having been the second time eating at Palace Grill, I was very happy that it is still very good. The set menu is exciting and has great flavours throughout. This is a place to come for a special occasion as it is quite expensive, but worth the money. Maybe one of the nicest things about this place is that it... More

Excellent experience at Palace Grill. Meny choice was easy - 10 course set meny or nothing! Perfect combinations of vegetables, fish and meat. Rounded of with a good selection of cheese and a sweet desert. Very good choices of wine - all as per recommendation of the chef. The restaurant is small - about 24 seats and not much room... More

We went for the 10 course + wine. The 3 first fish-based meals were genuinely fabulous. Then the others were only very good. The wine was good without being fantastic. In contradiction with what what said in other critics, it is definitely possible to book - I made my reservation 1 month in advance - which is, to be honest,... More

I've had the 10 course menu twice. They are two of the most amazing meals I have ever had. Palace Grill is at least as good as the Michelin starred restaurants in Oslo, though less formal and probably a bit more obscure. Expensive, but worth the cost.

This place has great food, Michelin quality, and great wine selection. You can not book a table so show up before opening and have a beer in the bar.

Fantastic food in a small restaurant, cramped for space, but great atmosphere. Excellent service, great wines and very tasty food. One of the best restaurants ever (and I have been at many!). Not to experimental. TRY IT!

So after eating on Alex tuesday, Fauna wednsday, I was recommended Palace. it seems that within a radius of 45 meters you will find the best places to eat in Oslo. At palace you can not reserve a table, but when you finally get one it is absolute a ride. The chef comes out and looks at you, then decides... More
