We really enjoyed this place as the food selection was vast and everything we had was very good. It also had an extensive drinks menu which was good. The atmosphere was buzzing and the place was a very fun and cool place to be with friends.

Go off the beaten path and explore the cool Grunerlokka neighborhood, and you'll find this great little spot for cocktails and tapas. Filled with locals, this handsome, hip little spot provides good drinks and tasty small plates. We sat at the bar, and the stools sit just a tad too low for comfort (the bar feels a tad too high). But... More

I think you either love or hate Delikatessen. I love it. Hectic, yes, noisy also, and not the most comfortable of chairs, but the food is always lovely and the service around average. But there's something about the feeling, I guess, or the mood. You just have to check it out. Remember that you can't book ahead.

A young Oslo native recommended this place in the trendy neighborhood of Grunerlokka. It's a tapas bar--small plates, all good, with a wide selection of drinks. We were there on a warm July evening and the whole front of the restaurant was open to the riverbank. The view was delightful. The place seems very popular with young Norwegians. The music... More

Yes, there were tiny table and we got the last one in the restaurant by the toilets - but we didn't book. It was tight with 4 people with food and drinks but was fine. The food was great: there's a nice variety on offer and for Oslo, it was not overly pricey. The service was slow to start with... More

Was in Grünerløkka restaurant with friends who have been there many times before. Ordered plenty of food and a bottle of Rioja and everything was ok. But the service was terrible. We hadn't seen each other in a long time and were maybe a bit slow in ordering, but there were plenty of available tables so I wasn't worried about... More

I visited this restaurant (I use this term loosely) with a group of colleagues. We booked a table for 8 and when we arrived we were shown to two small bistro sized tables which had been pushed together. The table was nowhere near big enough. We pulled a neighbouring table over and were promptly told we should move it back... More

I was there with my Spanish girlfriend, which called the food McDonalds tapas factory.. The food was pretty good for a Norwegian, but for a Spanish, this was a mid level every day tapas taste. But what really scared me was the price for a glass of wine. 104 Nok for a small glass which was gone after two sips..... More

Went to the Holmensgate one. Really nice tapas and service. In a low key warehouse type atmosphere. Free wifi, good service and my favourites, such as fried chorizo, pan con tomate, garlic and chili scampi etc..

As most of the reviewers here, I have to praise the tapas at Delicatessen. Everything I've tasted here has been very tasty. You might have to wait for a while before your seated, but it's worth it if your not in a hurry. Not the place for a big group, but for a couple or a few friends - go... More
