Description: Delicatessen Grunerlokka serves Spanish tapas made from a combination of Norwegian and Spanish ingredients. We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients available. I.E. All of our fried food is fried in Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Montabes in Jaen, Andalucia. The Montabes oils are known for their high level of antioxidants and actually adds flavor and nutrients to the food. This is an expensive way to fry food but only the best is good enough for us. All of our hams come from specially selected producers. Our main supplier of hams is Casalba in Burgos. At Casalba knowledge of how to make the finest hams, chorizo etc has been passed down for several generations. We are proud to be able to offer their world class products to our customers.

Me and my wife ate salad for lunch. The meal and the beer was excellent. The portions were large and even I was satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable.

Had a duck confit salad, filling and very tasty. Well done! Wife had a huge cured ham and cheese sandwich, kids had meat balls and potatoes (from the tapas menu). Really good food, nice location and atmosphere. Fun place to bring kids.

Small, cozy place with good food (not awesome). Worth you while to wait for table. Good prices. Good staff but not great. If you want to got somewhere nice with a good weekend feeling, go here.

Couldn't fault the place. No strangers to Spanish cuisine, we loved it. Popped in for a light snack and ended up ordering more and more and more including over ordering to smuggle out for next days packed lunch. In particular don't miss the selection of Iberico meats and the cheese plate. Oh and the pork neck. Staff couldn't have done... More

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere in this busy little tapas place. We had to wait for half an hour or so for a table, but it was well worth. All dishes were really good and it was a very enjoyable evening! The chocolate fondant dessert was great :)

We really enjoyed this place as the food selection was vast and everything we had was very good. It also had an extensive drinks menu which was good. The atmosphere was buzzing and the place was a very fun and cool place to be with friends.

Go off the beaten path and explore the cool Grunerlokka neighborhood, and you'll find this great little spot for cocktails and tapas. Filled with locals, this handsome, hip little spot provides good drinks and tasty small plates. We sat at the bar, and the stools sit just a tad too low for comfort (the bar feels a tad too high). But... More

I think you either love or hate Delikatessen. I love it. Hectic, yes, noisy also, and not the most comfortable of chairs, but the food is always lovely and the service around average. But there's something about the feeling, I guess, or the mood. You just have to check it out. Remember that you can't book ahead.

A young Oslo native recommended this place in the trendy neighborhood of Grunerlokka. It's a tapas bar--small plates, all good, with a wide selection of drinks. We were there on a warm July evening and the whole front of the restaurant was open to the riverbank. The view was delightful. The place seems very popular with young Norwegians. The music... More

Yes, there were tiny table and we got the last one in the restaurant by the toilets - but we didn't book. It was tight with 4 people with food and drinks but was fine. The food was great: there's a nice variety on offer and for Oslo, it was not overly pricey. The service was slow to start with... More
