Delicatessen Grunerlokka serves Spanish tapas made from a combination of Norwegian and Spanish ingredients. We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients available. I.E. All of our fried food is fried in Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Montabes in Jaen, Andalucia. The Montabes oils are known for their high level of antioxidants and actually adds flavor and nutrients to the food. This is an expensive way to fry food but only the best is good enough for us. All of our hams come from specially selected producers. Our main supplier of hams is Casalba in Burgos. At Casalba knowledge of how to make the finest hams, chorizo etc has been passed down for several generations. We are proud to be able to offer their world class products to our customers. We aim to create a relaxing atmosphere with great food combined with the best tintos, blancos and rosados Spain can offer.

The date place

Good food and nice place packed with first night out, first date. And yes, some few groups of friends. Nice and popular, smart to book in advance.

We (couple early 30's) went for a weekend to enjoy Oslo in mid march, was a beautiful sunny and warm(!) day, Delicatessen was packed with people from opening hours, sitting on the benches outside enjoying beer, wine and each others company - atmosphere was great! Got a table for two (small table, small seats, but charming) ordered tapas dishes and... More

Personally, i feel this is the best restaurant in Oslo. Atmosphere, service, food (quality and amount) and location. Not formal, loud voices and small tables might drag it down, but i don´t care:) I simply love this place.

The food here is good, but what takes it from 3-4 for me is the atmosphere and then the price is really reasonable even though it is Oslo :-)

This restaurant is an all time favourite of mine. The food is NEVER dissapointing, and I gladly wait for two hours to get a table (they don't do reservations). You put your name on the list and decide for yourself if you want to wait it out there, or go to a close by pub and have a beer while... More

Had a great evening at Delicatessen - fantastic food and great wine choices (as always in Oslo, wine was a little pricey, but worth it). Ordered a selection of tapas for 4 of us and there was more than enough for everyone - and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who visits the city :)

We had some tapas there and the quality was perfect! Be careful, the delicious croquetas are "per stick" so if you wish to eat more than one, do not forget! The waiter/waitress are really kind as well

This restaurant is a safe bet in Oslo. Always good food, and always possible to get a table if you can wait. Perfect location with lots of nice restaurants in the surrounding area. Try out LeBenjamin and Trancher Entrecote too. Highly recommended!

The servings are large enough that two or three tapas will feed two people. This is especially handy where restaurant meals are so expensive. The food was well prepared, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the ambience just plain. Only Spanish beer and wine were available as far as we could tell, which was o.k.
