Description: Delicatessen Grunerlokka serves Spanish tapas made from a combination of Norwegian and Spanish ingredients. We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients available. I.E. All of our fried food is fried in Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Montabes in Jaen, Andalucia. The Montabes oils are known for their high level of antioxidants and actually adds flavor and nutrients to the food. This is an expensive way to fry food but only the best is good enough for us. All of our hams come from specially selected producers. Our main supplier of hams is Casalba in Burgos. At Casalba knowledge of how to make the finest hams, chorizo etc has been passed down for several generations. We are proud to be able to offer their world class products to our customers.

The servings are large enough that two or three tapas will feed two people. This is especially handy where restaurant meals are so expensive. The food was well prepared, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the ambience just plain. Only Spanish beer and wine were available as far as we could tell, which was o.k.

Were taken here by friends who live locally, and so glad we did! What a lovely restaurant... intimate feel despite being very busy. The tapas selection was superb, and exceptionally well done... with some local influences... e.g. reindeer carpaccio! Well worth a visit... not cheap, but then Oslo isn't! Actually, in terms of value for money for the quality of... More

Delicatessen is one of your safest bets if going out to eat in Oslo. Their tapas menu is varied, but I prefer having the waiters put together a mix for us, I've never been dissapointed. This time we had aspargus beans (yum), chevre with honey (yum), reindeer with mushrooms (SUPER-yum) among others, and it was great! Had to wait a... More

Me and my wife ate salad for lunch. The meal and the beer was excellent. The portions were large and even I was satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable.

Had a duck confit salad, filling and very tasty. Well done! Wife had a huge cured ham and cheese sandwich, kids had meat balls and potatoes (from the tapas menu). Really good food, nice location and atmosphere. Fun place to bring kids.

Couldn't fault the place. No strangers to Spanish cuisine, we loved it. Popped in for a light snack and ended up ordering more and more and more including over ordering to smuggle out for next days packed lunch. In particular don't miss the selection of Iberico meats and the cheese plate. Oh and the pork neck. Staff couldn't have done... More

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere in this busy little tapas place. We had to wait for half an hour or so for a table, but it was well worth. All dishes were really good and it was a very enjoyable evening! The chocolate fondant dessert was great :)

We really enjoyed this place as the food selection was vast and everything we had was very good. It also had an extensive drinks menu which was good. The atmosphere was buzzing and the place was a very fun and cool place to be with friends.
