Excellent

Wonderful professional service . Cannot fault anything but the noise level as it was packed! Would return in a heartbeat!

Ask for a table at first floor. Then you can have the dessert trolley. It is a little busy and noisy but it has great charm and has nice atmosphere. The food are excellent.

Excellent service, delicious classic brasserie style French food, uncomplicated easy-going atmosphere, decent wine list. I went with a big group of 30. All the courses came out together, all were hot and delicious. There where no complaints. We were very satisfied. I was impressed that they could get out so much food out so promptly and all of it was... More

This restaurant serves the best French old I've tasted outside France. Today we had the today's lunch menu. Being Valentine's day we had pre booked a table, which turned out to be a bless as many drop in guests had to leave without being able to get a table. The food was fresh, tasted good and nicely presented. The waiters... More

We were placed at the 1.floor, which is ok, but I personally enjoy the ground floor more with a feeling of french brasserie. The food was very good, and the entire group had a 3 courses menu, which not was possible to customize. I would love to come back and test their bouillabaisse.

Was invited by a client. They are serving french cuisine and also some Norwegian specialties which i had too try.... Mostly full every day so a good choice if you are in the center. Little noisy like a brasserie. Good service.

The staff who greeted us were very gave us a warm welcome. The environment is lovely and the menu inviting. I have eaten here many times and usually been very satisfied. But on this occasion the entrecôte was not very tasteful. The meat was really tough. The female waiter was not very professional, either. Just said that that was the... More

Professional, upmarket French restaurant (too upmarket to be a brasserie in France). Professional staff. Varied, interesting menu - quite a few things that I wanted to try. The menu changes regularly. Some fixed price options, though these are not cheap. 3 courses + wine & coffee = 800 NOK for 2. Will go again. (Indeed, already have with the same... More

Brasserie France is the safe choice if you want to dine in Oslo. I have been there several times, and the service is always on top level. Same applies for the choice of wines and for the food itself. I have never been disappointed. One item that is fixed on the menue, is the dessert cartridge, which gives you the... More

I had planned to have dinner at Brasserie Blanche, but they were closed on Monday night, and so I ate here at Brasserie France instead. The food here is simpler than Brasserie Blanche, but just as good. Desserts are especially good !
