This was our first dinner when we arrived in oslo for a city break. Restaurant was about three quarters full on a saturday. Decor is quite cool and posh but also cosy. Menu was delicious especially the duck main and extra amuse bouches etc provided. Friendly service and would highly recommend.

A great experience. Friendly helpful service and really good food. I particularly enjoyed the gazpacho and smoked whale meat - a different experience, worth trying.

This was the second time I was at this restaurant. Let me just say that the first time, about 2 years ago, we were very satisfied here. This time we had booked a table for 9 o'clock for three persons. we showed up at the restaurant about 10 minutes before. The waitress said the table was not ready before 9... More

The food was excellent! The wine, the champagne the service. But of course when we visit that kind of restaurant you also pay for the service. The only "problem" is that the room make it noicy, it can be difficukt to have a conversation if you are more that 4. people with a round table. Worth a visit !

Had dinner here with friends. Restaurant Eik has a menu they change every week, and you can choose 3, 4 or 5 courses from this menu. They also have an option with pairing wine with the menu. Prices here are very reasonable, and the quality of the food you get for this price is very good. One person can have... More

This restaurant is known as an economy gourmet restaurant in Oslo, and is the hotel restaurant of Hotel Savoy. The concept is a 3, 4 or 5 course menu that starts at 375 NOK for three courses. That's reasonable for Norway, you would pay the same for three courses with much lower quality somewhere else. The menu changes each week.... More

6 of us went there for dinner last week. Service is excellent. We took the 5 dish dinner. The starter was nice, then a good soup but boring, the fish (poached cod) was cooked amazingly perfect, the meat was boring, the dessert was ok. Usually in the restaurants where you go for full menu, you end up ordering 5 course... More

Had the three course menu. Positive: - Very good amuse bouche - Nice atmosphere - Good flavours in main course. Negative: - The herring starter and the apple and ice cream desert were both rather boring, with no exciting flavours - The fish main was cold This was my first time, but I will give it another try, as I've... I dined with a large group. The food was good and the service excellent. However, the mushroom soup was rather boring, and the dessert didn´t taste much (nut sorbet and apple). The main course (lamb) was tasteful, but could have been warmer. Maybe the large group was a bit too much?

We were a group of nine, and had booked table. Unfortunately, we came one day too early, as the one who had invited us and made the booking, had confused the booking date. Despite being a very busy restaurant, fully booked, they were able to squeeze us in after all, which I must say was superb service!. We had to... More
