Good food and service and reasonable price

This a small but very homely restaurant. Warm atmosphere and excellent food for a reasonable price. Service was very good and personal. It seems to be very popular as you have to reserve a table 1-2 days in advance. Very well worth the visit.

I have been to this place several times, and the food is always good. The entrecote is the best I have tasted in Oslo, and the cheeses are always delicious. The only thing I would say is a bit negative is that the tables are very tightly spaced together, so it can feel a bit cramped on busy evenings.

Booked a table for an early dinner after work and we decided to go for a 3 course menu. We were greeted by a friendly staff and quickly had something in our glasses to enjoy. All the staff seemed very friendly and catered to our every needs. They were also busy tasting the wines for the larger tables that night... More

I had heard that the food in Oslo was expensive and not that fantastic. However, my experience at Le Benjamin proved otherwise. Each course was prepared well and tasted delicious. We especially loved the Entrecôte and the fried pineapple dessert that was served with an addictive yogurt ice cream. Our waitress recommended wine that we greatly enjoyed. We left warm,... More

Great place to go and eat, and managed a group of 11 excellent with right temperature on the food and good service Why not a top score - hard to say but that was the opinion around the table with 9 accountants, one legal and me. So I would expect a lot

I tried them all, and Le Benjamin is the only one where it tastes a little bit like home :) A very nice "à la carte" menu with a wonderful tartare, amazing os à moelle, and daily suggestions always tempting (for example a true POT-AU-FEU guys!) Desserts were really good, coffee is good, and the wine meny is superb. On... More

We cannot complain, both food and wine recommendations were very very good. Proper food without without being too pretensious. The service however, was a bit snobby, sort of like they were (only one) better than you. Hopefully just a bad day at the office. We will come back.

We were here on a Tuesday night and it was crowded. We made a reservation beforehand couple of hours before the dining. The service was excellent and the waitress spoke closely to perfect English. And the food! My friends had the lobster soup which was delicious. I had oysters and they were very good and the sauce was perfect. Also... More

Went to eat with colleagues after work. The place wasn't as I expected after seeing their website. It was cozier and not as stiff as I thought. Me & one colleague shared a tarte flambé with champignons for a starter. It was good to share, because if just taken alone, it would have been enough for the whole dinner —... More
