Definitely Worth It!

I gave it 4 stars because of the Tonka pudding. It has a very distinct taste. A taste that the four of us did not like, and after a fantastic meal it wasn't nice to end with it. I had the mussels as a starter. Absolutely delicious. For the main I had the lamb which is grilled for 36 hours... read more

I've had amazing food all over the world, and I've been lucky enough to enjoy some amazing lamb dishes on multiple continents, both from Michelin star restaurants and small hawker stalls. I've had amazing lamb abroad, and ranking all the way up there is the lamb at St. Lars. The lamb is cooked sous vide for 36 hours, before having... More

Went to St. Lars with our team at work. Perfect atmosphere for a pre-Christmas dinner. the 3-course dinner was superb with lobster and steak. The wine menu suited the meal perfect.

What a place! Stylish, great food, Knowledgeable staff, good music too. If you want something standard and corporate then do not go here...This is much much better. Kick back, relax, drink some English Sparkling wine and have some fun, life's too short not to.....

St. Lars is an relaxed, friendly restaurant with tasteful food not far from Bislet Stadion in Oslo. Their speciality is grilled food. My wife is passionanately fond of mussels with garlic and white vine, while I am more into a tender (preferably large) entrecôte. Both of us was very pleased. I can recomend this place for Visitors to Oslo.

Was here in July of this year after not having been here for about 2-3 years. Went for the hamburger as it was before one of the best in Oslo. Maybe we were unlucky but what we got was burnt on the outside served with chips and garlic where the garlic was also burnt and tasted bitter. The service was... More

Although the restaurant is not very big and the acustics are not the best, the food was excellent. The service was great and so was the wine selected to accompany the meal. The personnel were knowledgeable and highly competent. If you have a chance to try the roast leg of lam, please do. It seemed well marinated and slow cooked.... More

An intimate and rustic restaurant. The interior features modern surfaces and furniture, yet the atmosphere feels ancient, with hints of mystique. Arrayed with dimmed lighting and wooden plates, this set up yields associations of roman feast and medieval duskiness. Even though it's located in a rather busy street, visiting this chamber of grilled cattle gives the illusion of feeding at... More

Long wait for the food. Really dark table and almost impossible to read the menu or see the food. the reindeer tasted good, but it's kinda hard to share one big platter among three people on a small, dark and crowded table. The casual hipster sharing does not work for me. And at least not here. NO service. Had to... More

Cosy and great atmosphere. I would especially recommend the mussel in chipotle sauce with chirozo, it was amazingly good! Also tasty meat, but a bit too much smokey for my taste.
