the salad bar is worth going for. out of the very few vegan places this is one of the better ones. good deal for oslo too. the hot food is pretty oily and nothing is labeled - gluten free/vegan etc. the outside seating is nice. the staff basically leaves you alone. Go for lunch not dinner- it closes early and... More

I simply fell in love with this place when I visited it the first time. The perfect choice for a lunch. They serve fresh vegetarian food and drinks from the buffet, with exciting varieties of tasty dishes.

We were struggling a bit for vegetarian and vegan food in Oslo, but this place came up trumps twice and was just round the corner from our hotel. Lacks a bit in atmosphere and quite quiet when we were in, but the food was very nice and affordable. It's a self service all you can eat buffet, and spot on... More

Vega, as the others have said, is a vegan and gluten free restaurant. It is also wicked cheap (100 NOK or lunch, 150 for dinner, I think) - if there was a Peace Corps in Norway this is where they'd be hanging out. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan so IMO it already has an uphill climb. And it didn't... More

A nice mix of selections of both hot and cold vegan food from buffet you can choose. Costs around 100 NOK pr person. Worth a try! Cheapest dinner I had in Oslo!

Hidden away a little outside of the city center, 5 min. walk from the main street, is Vega. Just looking for a vegeterian place in Oslo is hard enough, and if I'm correct theis pace is vegan and has gluten free as well. It had a salad bar that was decent, three warm dishes and two gluten free dishes. Decent... More

We looked for a while and were determind to find this cafe! It was totally worth it, there is a large selection of tasty salad, soup of the day and four hot items alongside fresh bread. The items on the buffet are clearly marked for the gluten free out there and the Thai green curry was the best husband(carnivore) has... More

After buying salad buffet we got an awful experience with the saladbar. Carrot, pinapple, old salad with black and brown dots on it, and a couple more ingredients. That`s it. And bread. We sliced a bread and when I touched it, it was hard and dry, like a week old bread. We complained and got our money back. I will... More

Vega Fair Food could do a lot better, but since there are only a few vegetarian restaurants in Oslo, this is actually a pretty good choice if you're vegetarian or vegan. The food varies a lot from day to day, so be sure to visit Vega a few times to sample their different dishes. They offer a lunch and dinner... More

Vegetarian buffet with around five hot dishes, bread and some sallad to choose from. The only big problem being that all hot meals taste the same - awful cooking oil. The bread being old and hard and the sallad bland. The restaurant have a setting that reminds of a school canteen. On the upside you can eat as much as... More
