Fabulous!

Great food, fantastic wine and exellent service. Highly recommended! We tried the asparagus with bacon and the beef carpaccio for starter - yummy! The ravioli was the best pasta I've tasted in a very long time, could easily had another potion. The lamb was also great, and the waiter recommended... read more

Great food, fantastic wine and exellent service. Highly recommended! We tried the asparagus with bacon and the beef carpaccio for starter - yummy! The ravioli was the best pasta I've tasted in a very long time, could easily had another potion. The lamb was also great, and the waiter recommended perfect wine. Dessert, fondant, was also a winner!!

We wanted to try an Italian restaurant in Oslo and found this on tripadviser and other similar sites. When we arrived we almost felt a bit underdressed, should have worn a better shirt at least, but we were warmly welcomed by the staff anyway. We were served some excellent home-made bread rolls with various spiced olive oils and balsamic vinegar,... More

From the outside Ruffino looks like just another italian restaurant. When you enter, nothing changes that impression: the interior is not particularly distinct or attractive. The menu. on the other hand, is quite varied, and really stimulates your apetite. We were not very hungry, and went for primos only. The impression changes from average to very good the moment the... After the awards and reviews on tripadvisor we thought we would follow suit a book a reservation at Ruffino's. The resturant itself is a short walk from the National Theatret mainline station. We made a reservation and Ruffino was in constant contact with us via email as we had to change the time of our reservation a few times. this... More

I needed to book a restaurant fr a business meeting during a recent trip to Oslo. Originally I had 8 people for one date set and Ruffino made it easy to book, even though I was in the US at the time and did it all by email. I then had to change the reservation to a different date. The... More

I've been to Italy countless times. Over the years that has obviously also resulted in a lot of restaurant visits. I can say with my hand on my heart that Ruffino is one of the top Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The place is really intimate, the service is 10/10 every time we come there and the food is... I was there with my wife and we had one apetizer and one pasta course each. Capesante gratinate Bruschette Paccheri con capesante e salsa ai porcini Spaghetti alla Ruffino (seafood) They have a very good selection of wine and the service is very attentive. All tasted very good also for italin standards, portions were good and well presented. The price... More

Made a late booking for Valentine's day, and was treated to one of the best tables. As usual, the food was fantastic, the wine was great and the staff was attentive and happy. We keep on coming back to this place, it is ticking all the boxes!

We were here celebrating a birthday, and we were not disappointed. One of our best restaurant experiences ever. We had Bis di bruschetta, Paccheri alla Marchigiana, Carrè d’agnello al forno, Tiramisu, and Panna Cotta. I can safely say the Panna Cotta was the best I ever had, and the bread and starters were also in a league by themselves. The... More
