I have been here myself before with my friends but not with my partner. He actually really doesn't like Italian but I knew this would change his mind! As last time the staff were very attentive to all our requirements and the food was excellent! I cannot rave about it enough - there is an excellent wine list and Shaun... More

This is a fantastic place. I've been here several times through the years and it never disappoints. It's run by an Italian family and you can feel the staff's welcoming attitude from the moment you walk through the door. The service they provide is stellar and second to none. The food is out of this world - simply the best... More

I've been invited once by one of my business associates to Ruffino italian restaurant in Oslo, and to my surprise it was a very nice place, with fantastic food and excellent service. I have been in Ruffino about 20 times since, tasting different meals, and I really love it. Always fresh, properly cooked, and very large selection of Italian wines!... More

I have dined at Ruffino several times in connection both with business, friends and family, and I have always had a good experience doing so. The food is really nice and the pricing is reasonable for Norway. The staff is attentive and helpful. Once I brought av rather formal business associate there and he really liked it and "loosend up"... More

This is a great restaurant. First time to Oslo and looking for some where to eat, my husband looked on trip advisor, it's always a gamble, BUT, what a fantastic place. The staff are so friendly and happy which makes the atmosphere relaxed and warming. Our waitress recommend the ravioli, wow, they were amazing, just melted in the mouth. Thank... More

Went to Ruffino to get another round with some homemade Italien food, and I was not disapointed! Had tortellini and a red wine from the Pimonte region.

Great food, fantastic wine and exellent service. Highly recommended! We tried the asparagus with bacon and the beef carpaccio for starter - yummy! The ravioli was the best pasta I've tasted in a very long time, could easily had another potion. The lamb was also great, and the waiter recommended perfect wine. Dessert, fondant, was also a winner!!

We wanted to try an Italian restaurant in Oslo and found this on tripadviser and other similar sites. When we arrived we almost felt a bit underdressed, should have worn a better shirt at least, but we were warmly welcomed by the staff anyway. We were served some excellent home-made bread rolls with various spiced olive oils and balsamic vinegar,... More
