After a theater evening (early curtain) we rushed to our reserved table at Ruffino. The host received us and had us seated, and our two glasses of prosecco were on the table in no time. A busy night - last opening night before Christmas - but excellent service and tasty antipasti and primos for both of us. A good recommendation... More

Went here for dinner before a show at Oslo Konserthus. We got very good service, and wonderful food. We ordered the truffel ravioli, didn't regret it!

Managed to squeeze in on a busy Tuesday after work, and got the last table. Excellent, home made, fresh pasta and divine desserts. Servers are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I have visited the restaurant several times, and always left satisfied. This time the waiter was a bit too friendly, and by that I mean he tried too hard (but... More

Following what I'd consider the worst meal in my 50+ years in Svalbard, came perhaps the best. With only one short night in Oslo, we needed to make this dinner a remarkable one; Ruffino exemplified that and much more. Choosing Ruffino based on TA reviews, we were excited to try honest, homemade Italian food in a city known more for... More

One of my favourite restaurants, since I discovered it a couple of years ago I've been back three times, all of them equally memorable! The service is magnificent, and the ravioli with truffe and and butter is simply divine! A spontaneous visit with two people on a regular night might go well, but weekends are usually pretty full, and I'd... More

In nearly 60 years of dining in Italian restaurants--from dives to gourmet, this is my favorite. Sensational food, warm atmosphere, and Vanessa is always my favorite. Just a few hundred yards from the National Theater and the Concert Hall as well as the trams--it is convenient. Much of the food and wine is imported from Tuscany. Every dish I have... More

i never repeat restaurants while traveling, Exception in Oslo. This family owned restaurant deserves 5 stars. Service is exemplary and the cuisine, shining. The wine list covers all tastes. The beef carpaccio, béchamel lasagna, ravioli (must try) and pheasant, all were perfection. Alessandro described each course over both nights as they were set. You feel like you are the only... I got this restaurant recommended, and this is absolutely justified. After an aperitivo (my beloved Aperol Spritz - hard to find it in Oslo...), I decided for scallops as starter and a pasta course. The starter was excellent! As I couldn't decide for one pasta dish (they all sound so tempting), and neither could my friend, we decided to share... More

This restaurant is so genuine and wonderful. The staff is helpful, nice and really care about their guests. The food is real Italian, you can feel it the minute you walk through the door. Everything, from the starters to the desserts are amazing. I still haven´t tasted anything that is not good here. Be sure to book a table in... More
