Welcome to Brasserie Blanche! Restaurant Brasserie Blanche is an informal restaurant located between the Royal Palace and Majorstuen, an established area for nightlife and shopping in Oslo. Our speciality is French classic cuisine, combined with exciting dishes of seasonal ingredients. Inspiration for life at Brasserie Blanche comes from the best brasseries in France. The combination of quality ingredients and classic dishes in a homely atmosphere has been our recipe for success since 2005. Entrecote, sole meuniere and choucroute are some of the dishes we have on our menu every day. In addition, we also have special weekly menus. Welcome!

Lovely place

Lovely building and lovely French bistro type food: snails, langoustine and rare steak. Good wine too. However as always seems to be the case in Oslo, food reasonably priced but alcohol really bumps the bill up.

Went here for lunch a Saturday. You sort of need to know where it is, if not you will likely walk past it. We ate a steak sandwich and the food was excellent with very affordable prices. This place should be packed. I will definitely be back!

The loveliest restaurant for New Year hard to find any fault. Catered for a fussy teenager and gluten-free, pescetarian me. Staff charming, environment relaxed and food some of the best I've ever eaten.

We were two couples on Xmas shopping in Oslo and wanted a nice dinner at the end of the day. Nice staff and good service. The restaurant was almost packed due to all the businesspeople having their "Julebord", but we got our food in time and had an good experience. Blanche is worth a visit!

We dropped in for a warm lunch during Christmas shopping. Lovely friendly French/ Norwegian staff in this "French Bistro". We ended up with Champagne an French onion soup followed by a great chocolate fondant. A really pleasant meal in busy times. We will be back for more. PS: they are supposed to serve the best entrecôte in town.

Nothing worth their prices ! Noisy, with no space in between tables. "Garlic gratinated snails with mushrooms" means they just add a tiny little piece of mushroom on the snail's stick. "Duck confit on Brussel sprouts, onion tart and foie gras sauce" means an onion tart which is the size of a coin, Brussel sprouts are very bad cooked (so... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Oslo! I have never had a better dinner experience in my life! The service was 100%, the personal made you feel special. Every bite of the food was exceptional, and we got the best wine recommondation. They know what they are doing here! totally worth the money!

Went pass this place many times and wondered how it was there - so when I was asked on a date I didn't hesitate to mention this place. A wonderful experience, I must say. The waiters were very attentive, we got very good advice about food and wine - and ended up very happy at the end of the night.... More
