Great beers and amazing staff!

We happened upon this place from an ad on our map... glad I looked at it :) The beer selection is huge - 10 taps and a long bottle list. if you're not sure what to have, no worries, the bartender we met knows a TON about beer! So helpful!

When we arrived at Hotel Bristol, after a 21 day cruise of Norway, we wanted a quick and simple dinner on our first night, but it had to be a good meal. Everything at this restaurant seems to be home make-right down to the mustard and catsup. Several sausages are offered and they are all excellent. For a meal that... More

We had the house-made ketchup, mustard and sausages, the best sausage and mash we’ve ever eaten. The menu shows how to match beer and wine to the food. We shared an amazing cured salmon appetizer and each had the sausages, and including beer, that was a very good and filling dinner.

This place is popular for their local Norwegian beers. In fact, they have pages of them, and that's one of the reason why we visited this place. Quite odd that once we sat down, they actually gave us the draft beer list (only a page), which by itself is already a pretty decent list. We have to ask about the... More

You really have to look close to see this restaurant, as it's not flashy at all. The menu is incredible, the food was awesome (we had the vegeterian polser and the lamb, CRAZY good!) and the selection of local-brewed beer is impressive. The waiter was super nice, and the vibe is cozy.

My sons and I were traveling around Europe and this was one of our first stops. We wanted to eat some dinner but showed up before the kitchen was ready. But of course we too the opportunity to try some of the wonderful beers! I read an article saying this was the best beef restaurant in Oslo. Missed the food,... More

Definitely go here for a drink, but there are better dining options in Oslo. The beer selection is pretty expansive and the prices are quite a bit less than in other bars in the city. The menu sounds like it should be really good, and the staff were very attentive and seemed enthusiastic about it, but the food really is... More

The name is what they do. Most of their food is home made even the sausages as well as Ketchup and mustard. They serve lots of local craft beers from tap. The staff is friendly but a bit on distance.
