When you arrive in Oslo and want some traditional food and beer with a friendly and helpful staff, stop here first. The food is excellent...we had the sausages and mash and it was by far the best meal we had the entire time. The beer selection is almost overwhelming, but the staff can point you towards the best Nordic beer... More

Found this place via ratebeer.com, man we loved it. The look of it is awesome. Old school stain glass windows, leather chairs and bar stools. Wood everywhere and a beautiful bar. Plus the music was so cool! Mix of jazz and indie stuff. Now the important stuff. Food and drinks. Wicked beer list and I had a lovely beer off... More

I first looked at the menu outside on Monday evening and thought it was a bit expensive knowing that good food and Norwegians usually not comes hand in hand. By Wednesday I had maid up my mind and decided to give it a try, I do regret I did not paid a visit already on Monday. Then I first walked... More

This place does have a great atmosphere and a good beer selection. I had sausage and mashed potatoes, which was pretty good, but there were only about 4 options for main courses and 3 for starters. The beer is also quite expensive, but probably not much more than most places in Oslo. I'd probably go back for a beer, but... More

The place is nice and warm, the atmosphere is also very nice but as everywhere in Norway the prices are not too attractive. Beer selections are very good including the best Norwegian bee. The only problem was that the waitress just gave me one menu (Xmas menu) and after we have dinner the bring another one with a lot of... More

I recently visited this restaurant on a business trip with a colleague. The restaurant is fairly central and easy to find. When you first walk inside it is very inviting and the staff friendly. As other reviewers have said there is a great selection of beers. However the food menu is limited. As this was my first trip to Norway... More

Hi! We're sorry about your experience here. A couple of months wintertime we serve traditional norwegian christmas food and it might not be to everyones liking of course, and I agree that dining out in Norway is a bit pricey compared to a lot of other countries. We hope to see you again for a beer or two instead :) More

I went there with my parents and had a great experience. The food was great, the beer even better, and we were quite lucky with service as well. The waitress would always come to us with a smile on her face. It is a great place to go.

We got evening business talks with colleagues there. Food it's tasty. Alcohol like in most Norway bars and restaurants it's very expensive, because of state monopol on alcohol. In this place we got good service. Nice atmosphere. Good views outside and inside.

Our first meal in Oslo, this restaurant is a few feet to the left of the "Best Western" where we stayed. The food was very good and the prices were reasonably especially by Oslo standards. The waitress was cordially and she made us feel very welcome and at ease. I highly recommend this place.
