Everytime I come to Tromsø (once a year) I try to get my Blå Rock Burger with fries. My personal favorite is the Motorhead with loads of garlic. The fries are to die for with the special dressing. The dressing is based on sour cream with loads of spices/herbs. The pub/cafe itself is a typical music joint.

The burgermenu at Blå Rock cafe (why they call this pub a cafe is beyond me!) is simply quite amazing. I've tried most their burgers before, and settled for a 'Dead Kennedys' this time, and for ca. (20 USD) ~ 200kr burger with fries are served close to perfection. That is to say, the fries were actually quite terrible this... More

Went here one evening after it being recommended by a guy on the plane (he was Norwegian) We had to kind of wait and stalk tables and after about 20 minutes finally found one. We ordered a beer, a cider, 2 burgers and a bucket of chips for £56. Apparently this is a budget place to eat which is believable... More

Don't expect an American burger - at least when it comes to the beef. I hated mine. Great bar, atmosphere and beer though.

This place is know for having Tromsø's best selection of beer, and a rocking selections of burgers. Some say the best in the north of Norway. The fries here are special and pretty awesome! I recommend going there just for those. It has a rock theme, and plays mainly rock music. A little loud for my taste for a place... More

This was a great place to grab our first meal in Tromso. It looks like a rock themed bar but you will find that even on a Saturday it is a place for locals and tourists alike to meet up and while away a few hours. The local Mack beer is surprisingly good and the burgers are fantastic with a... More

First they mixed up our order, so I took a bite out of another girls burger. Then we had to wait over one hour longer than they predicted for the burgers. These things could have been forgiven if the food was good. But it was awful. Everything tasted burnt, salty and very dry. Did not finish meal and we paid... More
