We came across this place by chance and were very glad we did, the food is amazing! We had about 7 dishes between two of us and really struggled to eat it all, which was a shame because it was delicious. All the dishes we had were great from Norwegian, to Spanish, veggie and fish/meat, so cured reindeer, garlic prawns,... More

An interesting concept - Norwegian tapas? Really, it's just a kind of taster menu for some Norwegian food, alongside some more familiar Spanish tapas dishes. It's a nice setting along the main street, and only a couple of minutes walk from our hotel (although nowhere is very far, to be fair). We had a window seat, so had a decent... More

Nice place with friendly staff and very interesting local tapas. Everything was very tasty and nicely prepared. Good value considering norwegian prices. Nice selection of speciality beer that go nicely with the food. Atmosphere could be improved for a more cozy feel, like better lighting. To sum up, I would go again.

On a dinner recommendation of a college student, I make my way to Storgata 36. Navigating up a set of stairs I find myself at the entrance of Presis, a tapas restaurant and bar. With dark wood furniture and soft lighting from table candles and cool chandeliers, the atmosphere of Presis is warm and welcoming. I arrive shortly after the... More

Having read about presis in the lonely planet guide, we decided to try out this small resturant for whilst visiting tromso. I was highly impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. Although we we're expecting a Spanish style resturant was pleasently surprised by the localally inspired menu (cured reindeer, king crab and dried fish) alongside more traditional spanish dishes... This was just a really pleasent experience from start to end. The service was really good, in a warm and nice way, the interior was great, with really good chairs to enjoy the great food for many hours to an end. The dishes here wasn't just great tasting, but very interesting and different. We can really recommend this place. Amizingly... More

We found the quality of the different courses very uneven. Some very good (like the reindeer tapas and the chocolate fondant dessert), and some actually quite uninspired/bad. I love tapas and have been to a lot of different tapas restaurants. Presis did not meet the expectations I got after reading about the place in this site at all. Still I... More

We were drawn to Presis by the uniformly strong reviews the restaurant received on Trip Advisor. We were a little disappointed, to be honest. The atmosphere was nice -- a cozy, small upstairs room, with nice lighting and conveniently located in the core of Tromso. Service was quite slow and not overly gracious. Some of the food was terrific, but... More

Went here together with colleagues as they knew the place. The tapas were well prepared and beautifully presented. The dishes were just what I call tapas; a taste of everything and yet big enough for sharing. and we didn't have to wait long. The wine-list was not the most exciting, Our waiter was a gem, attentive and never far away,... More
