Great experience

Stopped by to have something to drink. Ordered some beer and told the waiter that I wanted something different than the standard mack beer, that they serve everywhere else, in Tromsø. The waiter suggested I would try some darker beers, from another brewery, which turned out to be a great choice... read more

Went here for New Year's Eve. Thought experience was very good, both food and service. Not cheap but no where in Norway is really and was NYE. Bit more ambiance via decor and music would be only suggestion to improve the vibe!

We visited Tromso for New Year, and when googling for some recommended restaurants, we decided to go for Compagniet. We were happy to get a table on 30 December and the restaurant did not disappoint! Very nice 5 course menu, featuring different produce, such as trout, duck and reindeer fillet. We opted for the wine pairing, which was very interesting... More

Nice restaurant with a touch of fine dining. Good meat and duck. Good service too. If you like fine dining, this is recommended.

Compagniet was recommended to us, and booked, by American Express Concierge. It was an excellent choice for our NYE dinner while visiting Tromso for the Northern Lights. It was a 5 course menu, featuring produce from the North - including a sensational reindeer fillet dish. The wine pairing was interesting, in that it didn't include a still white wine, but... More

I was famished having travelled from oslo that morning and walking 3km in the snow and ice. chanced upon this restaurant without realising that it was 5 minutes to closing. the Friendly waitress was accommodating. the iberico pork burger was amazing.

we chose this to get some local ingredients and it didn't disappoint. The main course is split in two so that you get more choice. Fjord trout, seafood ravioli, reindeer, and moose where on the menu plus a number of less exotic plates like duck and lamb. Quality was excellent and the service attentive.

This place certainly has gourmet aspirations: very formal atmosphere, "creative" menus etc. But there were things about it that didn't work for me. I started with the asparagus soup. And planted in the middle of this were a chunk of chicken pate, and a dollop what I think was pureed cauliflower. Either of these would have been fine as a... More

Wonderful to find such a fine dining experience in such a small place. Well presented with matching wines the signature menu is a delight from beginning to end. The young Staff coped well with a busy restaurant but it would have helped us enjoy the surprise experience if a little explanation had been given or left in written form as... More

Me and my husband have recently visited this lovely restaurant. We had deer and ox cheek, veal and confit duck leg. I love the way they serve main courses, you have 2 different main course in 1, plated separately. Food looks amazing, and tastes really delicious. Deffinitely visit again and recommend.
