it is true that is not very easy to find because located on the first floor of a bar-club. but once you are jn the ambience is nice and cosy, the food for me was excellent and the service accurate and very pleasant. i had some fresh prawns that were really super fresh and with simple mayo sauce and then... My wife and I spotted this restaurant when searching for a place to eat in Tromso. We both opted for the 3 course set menu for the day, which consisted of a very large bowl of delicious, fresh prawns to start, a beautiful monk fish dish for main and a berry compote for dessert. The starter and main courses were... More

We went here for my brother's birthday and it turned out o be a good choice :) Some of us went for the three course option, while others picked from the small, but delicious sounding a la carte menu. I had beef with fancy fries which was fine (I wouldn't have said no to some veg), but the monk fish... More

Excellent little restaurant upstairs. Service was exceptionally good (waiter was a psychology student- maybe that is why!) and the food was one of the best we had in Norway. Halibut with red beets, nicely served and presented.

Very good food and service. Had shrimps as starter and Halibut as main. Shrimps was not the best, The Halibut was excellent. American Express not accepted. It was a nice evening with family.

Good tasting food and with a varied menu. They have set menus where you can choose between different dishes. Not to pricey either. Also funny staff! Worth a visit

Ordered a steak cooked to perfection. The vegetables had a nice flavour too. French fries were really good and although the restaurant did not have ketchup for the fries, the Manager went out of his way to Burger King across the street to fetch us some ketchup. The wine by the glass was fabulous. Nice cosy atmosphere with very friendly... More

Must agree with reviewers that this was difficult to find, but well worth the hunt. A charming first floor restaurant illustrating, again, the fine quality of food Norway has to offer. We started with a beautiful carpaccio of beef with rocket and truffle mayonnaise. My husband differed and had fresh prawns. Mains were exceptional. 2 of our party had the... More

It was a bit hard to find this place as it has no ground floor/street presence, but we are glad we persisted. The restaurant is owned by the same people as Fiskecompaniet, one of the smartest/most expensive restaurants in Tromso. The food is equally as good but the atmosphere more welcoming and relaxed. We had fresh prawns as a starter,... More
