I walked into this little place not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The cakes were wonderful and home-cooked. Choosing my own teacup to go with my tea was also a pleasure. All in all a good 45 minutes of tea and cake and a nice hostess to boot.

We read the reviews and this tea house is also included in the local guide map that we got at our hotel. We walked in and thought how lovely and quaint! The lady at the till (no idea if she was the owner) saw us walk in and flat out ignored us even though we gave a wave and greeting.... More

Vintage setting, welcoming, warm + friendly. Choose from a selection of speciality teas, pretty tea cups and yummy cakes. We had warm apple cake and lemon tart just out the oven ... mmm! A lovely place to stop after walking back from the cable car + cathedral.

Just like sitting in someone's sitting room with mis-matched furniture and crockery. Ingers baking was to die for, with the carrot cake highly recommended. Makes a lovely change to find a tearoom like this nowadays, with character and service, different from most other cafes found the world over. Give it a try, reasonable prices for this quality and qwirkyness.

It was a quaint tea room with antique style table and chairs. We had the home made quiche with salad which was superb. To follow we had the scrumptious home made cakes. Orange cake and the best ever carrot cake we have tasted, lovely and light. All the cooking and baking done by the lovely Inger who was very friendly and... More

We only stopped here for an hour but it was lovely. The cakes are amazing, all home made, reasonably priced and all the tea cups and crockery was really cute and vintage.

I first visited this little cafe back in 2012 when I had my family visiting me. we were on our way back from walking over the bridge and wanted to get out of the wind and cold. Spotting the small sign on the roadside we ducked in. When we entered it was like walking into the front room of a... More

This is not your usual café by Norwegian standards. And I'm glad. First of all, the interior's a rare mix of styles, all "vintage", there's one wall with yellow wallpaper patterned with blue birds and flowers, a spot of brightness that anywhere else would be garish, but blends in with the neutral paint of the remaining walls and the decorations....
