This restaurant is hands-on an excellent experience in seafood. It's located on the ground floor with all glass walls, right on the waterfront in Tromsø, with a rather formal, modern gourmet atmosphere. We were served a set four-course meal of two excellent fish dishes, a cheese dish and dessert, with the restaurant's selection of wines to go with them. I... More

The food was excellent and they have a huge variety of wines !!! My favourite part of the meal was the crème brullé.

The minimalistic but warm interior design with a nice view on the harbour sets the tone, but THIS SEAFOOD doesn't need anything to amplify the experience. I would come back regularly if Tromso wouldn't be that far. don't miss out on this.

Stumbled into this restaurant for dinner waiting for our cruise ship - the Rica hotel recommended it and we were not disappointed. This was our first time to Norway, so we were a bit taken back by the prices, but in retrospect, we did not realize what a good deal it was. I had the lobster soup and Halibut and... More

Ok food but nothing more, not too exciting. Expensive. One would expect better seafood in a place like Tromsø.

A real treat, albeit an expensive one (but that is Norway for you). Recommended to us and we were not dissapointed. Staff very friendly and informed. Food was excellent.

It's a Must Visit!! I wish I have more time to enjoy the meal again. The ingredient was really fresh and every dish was incredibly perfect. I would give it an extra star if I can.

I loved the baked cod with lemon sauce! Vegetables perfectly balancing the sauce, mushrooms bridging the sauce and the baked cod, and a potato square to complement the whole thing. What a great experience!

If have had many good meals on my travels around in Norway and the world. The fish stew at Fiskekompaniet was among the top 3. If you pass through this town and have the time and the money to spend this is worth it. I cant wait to come back and dine here again!
