Awful service, food mostly mediocre

Most important? They brought the wrong food. Twice. (Someone buy the waiter a notepad.) And they made us pay not for what we'd ordered, but for what they brought - and no, they didn't even offer to exchange it. (That wasn't too bad; we don't like wasting food. But I really didn't want to pay for... read more

Consider that this is not a tipical norvegian cuisine, but ethnic restaurant, so be ready to read on the menu dishes like sushi, tempura and dim sum. We took a combo dish, with salmon, halibut, dim sum and dessert (a delicious and tasty cheese cake), all for around 50€ each. Don't forget that you are going to stay in the... More

Friendly waitress I had a good dinner. (English menu). I was there 2 times during my stay in Tromso. They have a extensive menu, not only Chinees.

I went there because I came with a night flight and not many restaurant were opened at that time. The restaurant has a nice view if you get the seat next to the water. However the food was average if not below. I tried Tom Yum which was not very Thai and the sushi which was not very Japanese. The... More

We had lunch here and although the staff are not overly friendly (maybe language or cultural) the service was very efficient. Good was nicely presented and of good quality. It is expensive to dine in Norway, but in stead of buying a cheap, low quality meal, for a few more NOK you Cana really good meal like what they serve... More

Stumbled upon this place while trolling around and decided to give it a try. Ordered a large platter of sashimi, nigiri and maki. Boy, that was the best ever. My boyfriend and I are huge suckers for Japanese food so we've tried countless japanese restaurants in Europe (including those of michelin star awarded) and I must say that Lotus gave... More

This restaurant is terrible. It's neither chinese, japanese or european. It's really nothing. We asked for a Menu written in English and we received a Norwegian one. The "vegetables and mushrooms" dish didn't have any mushrooms. The rice didn't have any salt. The T-Bone was barely a T and it was hard to eat. We were given a desert fork... More
