The restaurant is just next to the marina and when the weather is good, you can sit outside, but there is no service outside. The food varies. It's mostly good, but some courses, such as the cheese platter or the fish soup are simply overpriced for what you get. At a busy evening, expect very long waiting time. We were... More

I was there twice in uncharacteristically good weather. We sat outside with fine views over the harbour. The food we had was a seafood platter with lobster, warm mussels and cold arctic shrimps, which was absolutely delicious. The beer is good, but like everything in Norway, very expensive. We ate inside on another day and had lamb, salmon and a... More

Visited this very nice place for a late lunch, staff were very friendly and understanding. Spoke English well and explained the different type of local dishes. We had whale meat, picked herring and fried fish balls (not fish balls if you are reading between the lines). Food was fantastic and the beer and wine were great. All in all a... More

Nice place, pleasant and attentive staff. Great seafront location, must be fantastic in summer. Not the cheapest place in Bodø, but worth the price. Food with a local touch - my grilled stockfish was excellent. Nordlandspils on tap (of course) and a good selection of other interesting beers, including two splendid ales from local craft brewers Bådin.

One of Bodø's cosy and centrally located restaurants, where friends often meet for lunch, dinner or for a drink at night. In the summer, sitting outside on the balcony by the harbor is a good option. Have had several dishes here, both the buffet, the fish and meat, and all can be recommended. Parking spots can be hard to find... More

Came to Bodø on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and went to Bryggerikaia for lunch. It was just marvelous to sit outside in the sun, enjoying a cold beer and the fantastic light. I had "skalldyrrøre" - shrimps and crayfish in a creamy sauce on bread. Tasted good! One in my company had burger, the other one shrimps on bread, also... More

An excellent meal - and with a view of the harbour. A great combination. The outdoor patio was filled with smokers so we chose to eat inside, but the view was still just fine, thank you. The waitress was very pleasant and did not rush us through our meal. We had fish of course! Done to perfection.

I went here with two friends on a Sunday afternoon in late May, and had grilled "Klippfisk" – a specialty of the house. This was excellent. Based on the view to the other plates on our table, this place might be somewhat better with their fish than their meat. We liked the place as well, and had a nice table... More

A long walk after booking into our hotel took us all around the harbour area. We gravitated back to this relaxed outdoor pub right on the harbour with fishing boats and extensive marina on he door step - Bryggerikaia. After one drink and desiring a second we saw dark clouds moving from the south and moved inside. What we saw... More

A bit pricey, but that's true for all restaurants in Norway. Food was excellent - I recommend the spare ribs, and my other half thoroughly enjoyed the catch of the day, halibut.
