Excellent whale, give it a try

I ate here for dinner and tried whale for the first time, it was similar to jerky but softer. I also had the cod. It was great to eat fresh cod in a place that they know how to cook it properly. Quality was excellent. Had a great dark beer from Norway but did not get the name. The restaurant... read more

It's a pity there isn't a single veggie option. I had fries. ... my friends meals included carrots, spinach, asparagus, potatoes, sprouts, mushrooms and various sauces. Wouldn't be too hard to add an option. That said my friends enjoyed their meals

We weren't particularly hungry but wanted to go inside this nice restaurant. The day was cold and windy, but the warm atmosphere and friendly service could not be more inviting. and the it turned out the food was fantastic! both the lunch buffet (fresh and not too big, lots of good vegetable options) and the a la carte items- all... I had lunch buffet at Bryggerikaia and the waiter who served me was a one happy man. His service attitude was top top top :) Also the lunch buffet I can recommend warmly. The buffet included cold salads and cuts and also warm dishes, but the main focus was on the cold platters. I hope I can come back here... More

Once again a very nice visit to Bryggerikaia. The location on the harbor with a nice view to the sea is very good and the service friendly and relaxed. This time we had mussels as a starter and beef with vegetables and bernaise as a main dish. All very well prepared and so tasty and good! Our compliments to the... More

We read reviews and Radisson Blu Bodo staff independently recommended this restaurant. As we had just got engaged at the lake, we felt it necessary to celebrate with a fine meal. The outside was not open as it was colder. The inside was nicely decorated and cozy. One server spoke perfect English and the other server was more than adequate... More

The restaurant is just next to the marina and when the weather is good, you can sit outside, but there is no service outside. The food varies. It's mostly good, but some courses, such as the cheese platter or the fish soup are simply overpriced for what you get. At a busy evening, expect very long waiting time. We were... More

I was there twice in uncharacteristically good weather. We sat outside with fine views over the harbour. The food we had was a seafood platter with lobster, warm mussels and cold arctic shrimps, which was absolutely delicious. The beer is good, but like everything in Norway, very expensive. We ate inside on another day and had lamb, salmon and a... More

Visited this very nice place for a late lunch, staff were very friendly and understanding. Spoke English well and explained the different type of local dishes. We had whale meat, picked herring and fried fish balls (not fish balls if you are reading between the lines). Food was fantastic and the beer and wine were great. All in all a... More

Nice place, pleasant and attentive staff. Great seafront location, must be fantastic in summer. Not the cheapest place in Bodø, but worth the price. Food with a local touch - my grilled stockfish was excellent. Nordlandspils on tap (of course) and a good selection of other interesting beers, including two splendid ales from local craft brewers Bådin.
