My husband and I stopped by for a drink on Saturday night. The drinks offering was good with a nice range of Austrian wines by the glass. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. The homemade lemon tart was really great. The furniture and decor was fun. We will be back for drinks again.

went there with my husband on a sunday at 1 pm, the buffet for the brunch was a bit empty. They had nice cheese and hams, delicious bread, but no fruits,no fresh juices, very little vegetables and the cafe latte tasted of nothing. The atmosphere and decoration is cool, service very kind. Overall a bit disappointing food wise!

We went to the "das Möbel" for some glasses of wine. What can I say: The wine was wonderful, the price more than reasonable and the bar offered free water with the wine. I will definitely come back - maybe also for food.

It was very busy when we dined here, maybe that is the reason for the slowness in our service, but with that being said, the food is delicious! The ambiance was very good and is conveniently located to lots of attractions.

We spent a couple afternoons here drinking wine and eating nachos. Place is quirky and has free wifi. Great place to relax

We enjoyed having a pint of beer and a glass of organic white wine at the counter. This restaurant doubles as a furniture store so there are cool pieces for sale all over the place. It has a nice atmosphere with modern lighting. We enjoyed our stop!

Trendy and stylish place to have a coffee, breakfast or just a beer. Unique furniture, which you can directly buy in the café. Young and friendly stuff, magazines to read, great place to hang out.

Just arrived in Vienna and popped in here for a few drinks. I enjoyed the beers on tap, and my wife sampled the Sturm and the house red wine. All were good, and cheaply priced. Cool atmosphere with all the inset rating furniture, which all appeared with price tags for sale. If we were locals we may have been tempted... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
