Surprisingly good

I was quite surprised by the food here. Growing up where there was amazing mexican food, I had high expectations. Knowing that there was a good chance it wouldn't meet my expectations, I kept them low. However, I was quite pleased. The fajitas were quite good and the margaritas were outstanding... read more

We have been here on previous trips to Vienna. They have since updated the decor with new wood high top tables and chairs along with other upgrades. The Mexican dishes are made with fresh and delicious ingredients. Also highly recommend the Sangria. Different than you would find in the US but still excellent in its own flavor. This is a... More

This place is a rip off, unfriendly and then they complain if you are on the phone while ordering. They stuff the tacos with rice, beans and so on. If you are don't eat cheese and so on and therefore want some extra guacamole, don't worry. No problem, they just charge a tons for extrait second time we came here... More

Staff was alright. Tried making small talk in Spanish but one of the employees specifically didn't seem too interested. For ~€7.70 you can get a burrito that comes with rice, beans, chicken, guac, cheese, light salsa and jalapeños. I have to say that while I was craving Mexican food, this place was really nothing special. If you're looking for it... More

Admittedly i went to Fresco Grill just to see the "terrible service from a grump manager". And i did everything i could to cause a problem. Sat down before ordering, Eating at the counter before paying, asking lost of questions and holding up the line... and NOTHING!! I can see how some people could complain there is no one to... More

My girlfriend and I walked by and she wanted a quick snack but I was not hungry - she went in to order tacos and i said we should just sit down so she can eat it, as i was about to pay i got told that if i wanted to stay to eat that I also had to consume... More

this isn't a romantic evening kind of place - the decor is steel and glass and you queue up to have your food made to order in front of you. but the folks there are really friendly, they work on adding interesting variations and new menu items, and the quality is good. go for the burritos rather than the tacos... In my opinion, as far as the food is concerned, the best place for Mexican food you can find in Vienna. So if you want to have really tasty food that will leave you satisfied for hours, you can be sure you'll find it there. My reason for not going there more than once every two months are the following:... More

This place is basically Mexican takeaway / self service cafeteria: you enter, look at the board and the staff make your order as you wait and watch. There are a couple of spaces downstairs to sit or your can go upstairs where there is more space in case you want to eat in. Staff have always been super friendly and... More

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
