A nice change in Vienna

Take the purple U2 line to then end-of-the-line at Karlplatz station and go up. When you see the Vienna sightseeing company, go to the right and up the 2nd set of stairs/escalators. Go up and across the street and down (directions get a little fuzzy here). But it's on a huge corner where the... read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant with no expectations or anything. Paid EUR9.90 per pax for a free flow, unlimited lunch buffet. The lunch spread included mussels, soups, prawns, squids and so much more. Definitely value for money.

Corner restaurant on busy street. Menu in German/English with wide selection. Food allergy information. Buffet where you select your meat, vegetables, sauce and cooked for you. Everything is very fresh and not over sauced or fried. Open on Sundays, can be crowded. Staff is very efficient.

I really recommend it for a regular meal during a sightseeing day. This very well located and offer a regular meal for a fair price, though do not expect to find fancy traditional dishes. The restaurant offers a big variety of asian food. The dishes are very well prepared and tast very good. The service was good, even though the... More

We tried noodles, sushi, grilled salmon and lots of other things... Everything was very very good and fresh! I would suggest to try it.

Ate here at the end of a week in Vienna. Wanted something different after eating mostly European meals all week. Had a sushi bento box that was ok, but nothing spectacular. Had much better sushi, but have had much worse. The serving size was good for a decent price. Also saw a lot of Asians eating here, which is always... More

"Asian" restaurant that serves food no Asian would recognise, starting from the menu, despite the place is owned and run by Chinese Service is OK, but 4 different noodles dish ordered came back with very similar look and taste - that's the level of sophistication of the kitchen. Sushis - the restaurant would fare better by buying pre-packaged sushi from... More

This place should be called Wok and Run! Don't go there. They offer buffet but the selection was bare. When you order food from menu like tempura shrimp bento, they use the same shrimp from the buffet. The service was not good. If we had not sat down already, we would have ran!

Great location. Right outside U2/U4 line. Clean and reasonably priced. The fried appetizers are very good. Sushi selections are very limited. Soups are fine. The stir fried selections are decent. However, the sauces are way too salty no matter which one you choose. Would go back again for lunch.

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
