The restaurant is located in a wonderful street which is exclusively for its guests. The moment you walk in you are welcomed with pleasure of their staff and seated as you wish . The items in the menu are explained well as you would be surrounded by people who are passionate about their job and this place. The prices are... More

During a walk in Vienna antic shops streets we decide to have a lunch at the terrace of this restaurant. We took the formula with 2 courses and glasses of a very nice Uscan wine. The service is very friendly, the tables are set with taste and you receive a very good selection of bread and a wonderful virgin olive... More

Set in the old part of the city this was a quaint little place with a good selection of pasta and wine. The service was good with very friendly staff.

We had a lovely experience at Procacci. The interior had spare whitewashed walls and interesting old prints. The food was very enjoyable. I had tagliatelle with sauteed shrimp and asparagus while my husband had roasted branzino with mashed potatoes and truffle shavings which he enjoyed. He also got a mixed salad which was a large bowl filled green and purple... More

This is a really nice restaurant right downtown. It has a lively vibe and the service was good. The wine list is impressive and the antipasto plate was great. The mains courses were lackluster. Not bad, but this is an expensive restaurant, so I think it is fair to expect a bit more. I would definitely go back for a... More

Haggled a little at beginning about a table inside to avoid cigarette smoke - but excellent waitress agreed we could have it - Ruinaty champagne to start - one glass a bit flat - but changed immediately - after that everything was absolutely delicious - the female waitor was outstanding - spoke English (as well as German and Italian) which... We have been on a business trip for a week in Austria and were looking for a good restaurant a little bit of the beaten tourist-track in Vienna. Fortunately me and my wife found "Procacci", it is easy to get their (either by public transport, foot or bicycle), they also have a nice garden outside in a small pedestrian area.... More

Booked a table for 2 via our Hotel. Arrived and shown to our table however then communication problems started. We ordered aperitifs and ended up with 2 half full glasses of flat champagne? Starters appeared and only average however for the main course my Wife had ordered a fillet steak and asked for fried potatoes (which appeared on the menu)... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
